The majestic, remote, unobstructed views comes with a very small price to "pay" in the way of 1.7 miles of (well-maintained) gravel roads to the house. 4-wheel drive is NOT necessary to access the house during Spring and Summer months but IS REQUIRED during Winter months. Please take the curves up to the property slow ( 5-10 mph) and be cautious of the abundant wildlife that often cross the roads. Lastly, if you want to fit in, it's the Montana way to wave to your neighbors as you pass them on the road.
As featured on Fox Business Channel 'American Dream Home: Gone Country', episode titled "Dreaming of Paradise". Welcome to Yellowstone Sky House a stylish private mountain retreat on 20 acres that boasts stunning, expansive views of Emigrant Peak, and soaring Yellowstone River views from most rooms of the house. No direct fishing access to the Yellowstone River, however several access points are approx. 10 miles away. 5 person Hot Tub makes for a perfect end to your adventurous days.

• 3 bedrooms: all with king beds and luxurious fine hotel quality linens; 3rd bedroom king bed may also be separated into 2 twin beds if preferred. There are also 2 rollaway beds that can be set up comfortably in the family room downstairs, for a total of 6 beds.

• The house has a 2 person work station/desk with printer and good wifi for your virtual office needs or for the students in
your group needing a comfortable space for virtual schooling.

• Enjoy roaming your 20 private acres (property is not fenced so may not be suitable for young children) or just 2.4 miles away you will enter onto Forest Service Land for all the hiking, mountain biking, and off-roading adventures your heart desires.

• Kids will love the downstairs family room equipped with standup PacMan arcade game, Xbox, and board games.

• Enjoy the crisp sound of a vinyl record spinning on the turntable while you cook up a delicious dinner for the family.

• Abundant wildlife such as deer, elk, bald eagles, antelope, and more frequent the property.

• Vortex Spotting Scope for guests to enjoy set up conveniently on tripod in living room.

• House is equipped with central air if you need more than the mountain breezes to cool off from those warm Montana summer days.

• Large deck with BBQ for those who enjoying cooking outdoors.

Location:

• Sinclair Gas & Market (groceries, fresh produce, & hardware): 8.5 miles

• The Old Saloon and Livery: 8.4 miles

• Sage Lodge Resort: 10 miles

• Yellowstone River Access: less than 10 miles

• Chico Hot Springs Resort: 12 miles

• Yellowstone National Park north entrance: 30 miles

• Livingston (historic, charming, western town filled
with quaint restaurants, bars, & art galleries): 32 miles

• Bridger Bowl Ski Area: 58 miles

• Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport: 65 miles

3 Things That Can Be Less Than Awesome:

• Paradise Valley can be windy.

• We have the fastest internet available which is usually just fine for work or school but in bad weather the speed may get a bit slower.

• Tankless Hot Water Heater works fantastic for the entire group to take consecutive showers and also for both showers to be used at once, BUT if you run the dishwasher or washing machine at the same time as both showers it struggles to supply hot water to everything.

Please consider purchasing vacation insurance or check with your credit card for vacation coverage. We are unable to offer refunds or make-up days for missed reservations due to excess snow, road closures, cancelled flights, illness, etc.

This property can be dangerous for unattended young children as there is no fencing and steep hillsides.
You will need a vehicle to enjoy your stay and 4-WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED DURING WINTER months.

There is no Uber, Lyft, or public transportation in Paradise Valley. We do have a car service recommendation we can provide upon request for the days you'd prefer to leave your vehicle behind at the house and hire a driver.

Breathtaking views and great location!
10/10 recommend this house! The views of the mountains out the windows are second to none and you'll want to spend all your time just staring at them! The house is beautifully decorated and the hosts thought of everything- down to the record player and assorted vinyls to the matching robes in the master suite. This house had one of the best equipped kitchens that I've seen and even included appliances such as a pressure cooker and food processor. The house was 10 minutes from a small country store that has most everything you'll need, a bar, and a restaurant (though the restaurant is only open certain days so check beforehand). It's about 30 minutes from the larger town of Livingston to the north, and 30 minutes from Gardiner to the south. Gardiner is also the North Entrance to Yellowstone so this house couldn't be in a better location. Do yourself a favor and book this house, I promise you won't regret it!

Magical Montana Sky house
We had a delightful time here. The views are so stunning with mountains all around - it feels like you are in Switzerland when there is snow on the mountains in the winter. One of the most comfortably appointed and thoughtfully laid out homes we've ever stayed in. If this place is available, book it, you won't be disappointed! Great value for the $$ especially in this area. We'll be back, thank you again Kameko!

Amazing house!!!!
From getting out of our car to sadly leaving, the views from this house are incredible with sweeping views across Paradise Valley and a perfect view on Migrant peak. The property has a lot of space to explore outside and for us play in the snow. The outside is well maintained and so nice to have a garage with sleds and other fun things to use like corn hole! The inside of the house was perfectly decorated with a kitchen that had every utensil or dish you needed. The kids were ecstatic to have an Xbox and the hot tub was perfectly positioned. With a beautiful 40 minute drive we were in Yellowstone National Park which was so fun in the winter. The hosts of this house were so helpful and kind. I would stay here over and over and so would my entire family. It's perfection! Definitely need a 4 wheel drive in the winter which made it feel all the more separated from the world and exclusive.

Once in a lifetime view!
That view! It was a bit of a road up, but the view makes the trek worth it! The home was clean and welcoming. Communication with the owner was wonderful. Thank you for hosting us!

Cocktails in Paradise
We have stayed at many properties but the Yellowstone Sky House was exceptional and exceeded expectations…and mine are very high. This trip was a family vacation that included 4 adults and 1 infant. The house was perfectly suited for privacy, when desired, and well equipped for a baby. The property was well stocked from A to Z and you can’t beat the view! A big thank you to our hosts for being so accommodating. We will definitely go back!

My love of Montana began when I was just 11 yrs. old while on a cross country road trip from Southern California with my parents, 3 siblings and our Labrador puppy, all cozied up in a small truck camper for over 3 weeks. That Montana love spell struck me hard and I dreamt one day when I was "grown up" I'd come back but the next time, I'd stay awhile. At last, that lifelong dream has come true. Now we are here hoping to share some of our Emigrant Montana love with visitors. We can't wait for you to experience the beauty and magnificence of this town, the warmth and welcome of the locals, to see for yourselves why it's aptly named Paradise Valley, and why Montana is the "Last Best Place".
