Michael & Brenda’s property is very nice and is located conveniently for trips into the city and visiting family in the suburbs. We were in town for a family wedding and had a great time. Highly recommend this house.

Beautiful and comfortable home

Everything was very clean and well stocked. Our teenagers had plenty of space away from us and each other, while still making it very comfortable and easy to be together for meal day and entertainment. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Chicago!

Beautiful and spacious house

We really enjoyed our stay at Michael’s house! It is incredibly spacious, modern, well apportioned and well equipped. Close to all the normal Chicago tourist offerings yet tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood with all the amenities you would have at home. We very much look forward to staying with Michael again!

The home was exactly as pictured. Lovely upper scale home beautiful decor and all the amenities you could want. Host was very punctual responding to any requests. I can’t say enough about this home. My family spent nights in the family room very spacious and comfortable.

Daughter was getting married and some of our family members stayed here (I rented 4 houses that weekend). This home was beautiful and perfect for our needs. Probably one of the cleanest rentals I’ve ever seen. Communication was awesome, as I wasn’t sure who would be staying where until the week of. Highly recommend!

Amazing Berwyn House

The house was exactly like the description and pictures in the listing. It was extremely clean and spacious. It was fully stocked with towels, dishes, pillows, blankets, cleaning supplies, etc It was very functional for a family of 4. There was a private driveway in the back for parking. I would most definitely stay here again in the future when we visit our family.

This unit met all our needs for a family together... it had all that we needed. Even had gates blocking the stairways and outlet covers for our toddler. It could have used one more bathroom but overall, very pleased

Nice and clean . Nice appliances, very much updated. Excellent communication from host. Would definitely stay again if they would let us. Probably undersold how close a lot of places are to the property. Just within a few minutes you have all kinds of restaurants and shopping. Good location-far enough from downtown Chicago, but close enough to take an Uber or a train downtown

Really nice

Lovely and large upgraded house with upscale amenities. Lots of room to spread out. My typical complaint of rentals is that the beds are hard and uncomfortable. Not so here. All plush and soft. So if you like a soft bed like me then you’re set. Great quiet and clean neighborhood about 20-25 drive to downtown.

Sister graduated from college in Chicago. Traveled from Minneapolis to Berwyn to stay at this property. Owner allowed full size police K9 on his property, no issues. Was okay with guests with prior notification. Basically treat the space as your own. Good communicator, place was clean and a decent neighborhood. I’d come here again.

Lovely home! Beautiful decor, great location!There were a few things that bothered us. First, you can’t change the thermostat and it was pretty cold inside, especially the basement where there is a bedroom. Also, the listing said there were 2 and half bathrooms. There were only 2 full bathrooms. When we questioned the host, we never heard from them. Should change the listing. Otherwise, had a great stay!

Where’s the bathroom?

Lovely furnishings, well equipped kitchen, every room and surface spotless, but only two toilets! Second bedroom upstairs is shut off from bathroom on that floor when primary bedroom door is closed. Is an en suite really that necessary? Moving the bedroom door would give access to bathroom from both bedrooms on that floor. Otherwise a great house.

Thank you for staying at our home. I appreciate your compliments on the furnishings, cleanliness and accessories. We bought the home a year ago and have had many families that have stayed with us in excess of 4 people and have never mentioned the bathroom locations being a problem. Most of the homes throughout the Chicago area are designed very similar with 2 full bathrooms and a 1/2 bathroom. There is no reason to give a 4 star for the homes layout as it is not a hotel.
