We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as stated. The view from the backyard at dawn and dusk are just beautiful. Lots of extras. Impressive coffee setup.
Location was great with nice views of the foothills and the city. Really enjoyed the back patio. Hiking spots very close and walkable to several food/drink options.
This place was great! It was clean and everything worked as advertised. I never heard traffic or neighbors so it was easy to rest. The bed was very comfortable and I even had a good pillow! They have some nice touches like board games and night lights. They even have electric socket extensions that make plugging in and charging g super easy. The host communicates through the app well. I highly recommend!
Would definitely stay here again, everything was exactly as listed and very thought through. Check in and check out was super easy, beds were comfortable, and location was super convenient.
It was everything and more that was needed (and not) for our stay. Cozy and ample with furnishings. Entertainment access was plentiful. Kitchen and bathrooms had substantial products, supplies and tools to make us feel at home. Our host, Jake, was timely in response, having provided easy to understand rules to follow upon entrance along with reasonable exit standards at departure. In the end, I’d absolutely return for a future stay with my family.
Stay was amazing. House is awesome with a great view of mountains and sunset! Very close to many stores and restaurants 10/10 gonna stay here again whenever I come back to Albuquerque!
What a lovely week here. The place has everything one needs, is clean, well-stocked, in a great location, and has a beautiful sunset view from the back patio. Easy to walk out the door and head east for a walk through the open space.

About the host
Hosted by Jake Aragon
Hi, I’m Jake! I’ve called Albuquerque home for most of my life, and I love its wide-open spaces, mountain views, and unforgettable sunsets. Sharing this beautiful corner of New Mexico with others is one of my favorite parts of hosting.
Before becoming a host, I spent 27 years with a major retailer, where I learned that great service starts with listening, paying attention to the details, and making people feel welcome. Today, I bring that same care to our homes, creating clean, comfortable spaces where guests can settle in, relax, and make lasting memories.
My wife and I have been married for over 20 years, and we have two wonderful daughters. We love traveling together, exploring new places, and spending time at a lake, river, or beach whenever we get the chance. Our own travels have taught me how much a thoughtful host and a welcoming home can add to a trip.
Whether you’re here for an outdoor adventure, Balloon Fiesta, a family visit, or an extended work stay, I want you to feel at home. I’m happy to share local favorites, help you find a great meal, or suggest a trail to explore.
I take pride in being approachable and responsive to calls, texts, and emails while respecting your privacy. Many of our guests return again and again, and those relationships mean a great deal to me.
I look forward to welcoming you to Albuquerque—and hopefully welcoming you back!
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood for its beautiful foothills setting and the balance it offers between outdoor adventure and everyday convenience. As someone who has lived in Albuquerque most of my life, I love being close to the Sandia Mountains while still having easy access to the city.
The mountain views, colorful sunsets, and nearby hiking, walking, running, and biking trails make this a special place to spend time. You can start your morning outdoors, walk to Bridges on Tramway for a meal or a local craft beer, and return home to relax on the patio.
It’s a welcoming home base for business travelers, retired couples, and families alike. Whether you’re here to explore, visit loved ones, work, or simply recharge, you can enjoy a peaceful residential setting without feeling far from the things you need.
The location also makes it easy to plan outings to the Sandia Peak Tramway, Old Town, museums, and other Albuquerque attractions. Balloon Fiesta Park is within driving distance, though I always recommend allowing plenty of extra time for Fiesta traffic. Convenient access to I-40 and connections to I-25 make exploring beyond Albuquerque, including a day trip to Santa Fe, straightforward.
For me, this neighborhood captures what I love most about Albuquerque: open skies, mountain scenery, local flavor, and room to slow down and enjoy it all.
What makes this property unique
What makes this apartment special is the chance to enjoy Albuquerque’s outdoors without giving up the comforts of home. Set at the foothills of the Sandia Mountains, it puts hiking, walking, running, and biking trails within easy reach—perfect for an adventurous morning or a quiet stroll through the open space.
You can leave the car behind and walk to Bridges on Tramway for a casual meal, a local craft beer, or a sweet treat. Back at the apartment, your spacious private patio offers city views, lounge seating, outdoor dining, and a propane grill. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee or watch Albuquerque’s colorful sunsets.
Inside, thoughtful touches make downtime just as inviting: comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, Starbucks or New Mexico Piñon coffee, family board games, and more than 100 Blu-ray and DVD titles. Refrigerated air conditioning, high-speed internet, and in-unit laundry make longer stays comfortable, too.
The location also makes a great starting point for outings to the Sandia Peak Tramway, Sandia Resort & Casino, and scenic drives through the mountains. Convenient interstate access opens up day trips to Santa Fe, Cochiti Lake, and the Jemez Mountains.
For me, it’s the combination that makes this home memorable: outdoor adventures, neighborhood dining, and a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day.
