Location was great. Cleanliness lacked, floors and kitchen items were dirty and had leftover food from previous visitors. Backyard was full of leaves and ultimately not useable. Bedding was ROUGH and very uncomfortable. Overall I think this place could be great just needs a little extra attention.

Matt. I am absolutely shocked at your comments. After much communication to you, and you NEVER responded , right from the inception, then the check in instructions, then the offer for a early check in and finally an offer for a late check out at absolutely NO COST TO YOU, you never acknowledged any communication no did you ever respond. The ONLY time you communicated was to say you have checked out. NO OTHER guest has ever done this. Santa Barbara has been hit with heavy wind and as a result , dust may have entered possibly through under the doors. The outside gazebo " 'cover" is a beautiful foliage of a passion fruit vine . Again the wind would have caused much leaves to fall onto the outdoor table and chair COVER - again, those outdoor furniture had a cover over them. You never read the rules, as this and logic would have told you to simply remover the cover and have a totally clean furniture to sit on. You would certainly help if you told us which of the three rooms had a "rough" bed. As for the "leftover" of food , trash is picked up on Fridays and you arrived on Thursday and therefore you experienced this. Finally we do give "good" ratings to guests to encourage them to return but you may have noticed we gave you a lesser rating for cleanliness because not only was the place left more dirty than usual but you did not read the instructions as to what to do when you leave. Hope this explains this. thank you

Just What We Needed!

This property can comfortably hold six adults who are spending most of the time walking around town. The amenities are great and it is in a very convenient location. The host is extremely responsive and kind. One of the better places I've stayed!

Great Times in Santa Barbara

The house was just as described and very clean. The hosts communicated well, easy check in. There was some traffic on the street on the weekend nights but didn’t bother us and we’d definitely recommend this cute house for a family getaway.

Such a cute little house! Great location! We walked to the shops and beach many times. We enjoyed the cute covered patio in the backyard and while it was a small house it was great to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms since there was 6 of us. We had spent the previous 3 days camping at the beach in Malibu and headed to Santa Barbara to attend a concert at the Bowl so we definitely appreciated the charm and comfort of the house. The host was very friendly and responsive and allowed us to check in a little early which was super appreciated.

Outstanding stay in heart of Santa Barbara!

From initial comms with us to checkout, this was an outstanding bungalow stay for our daughter's wedding weekend. Virandra was a gracious host, answered any questions we had. Compact yet enough space for our adult family. Great covered patio in the rear, and sunny seating in front. 5 minute walk to State street and 20 min walk to the beach. Will definitely stay here next time in Santa Barbara!
