Hale Maluhia Lanikai - Special On Beautiful Lanikai Home!

Old Hawaiiana. Steps from the world-famous, Lanikai Beach, this three bedroom, three-bath retreat has the true feel of the Hawaii of yester-year. Hale Maluhia is tropically decorated with all amenities for your comfort. Artwork has been hand selected from local artists. Marble and Travertine throughout kitchen and baths.

Bedrooms are separated two with king beds and one with a twin or king, each with a private bath. Completely enclosed and private, tropically landscaped with coconut palms, plumeria, ginger, and heliconia. Enjoy the solar heated black bottom pool or take the steps to the famous Lanikai Beach. Additional features include a gourmet kitchen, cable, fax, internet, and stereo system throughout.

This home is just two blocks from Mid-Pacific Country Club, within 15 minutes of two major golf courses and two miles from Kailua.

The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 30 days and no one else may occupy the property during that period. The 30-day rental period will be communicated to guest upon booking. All rates quoted will be based on a 30 day period. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

In compliance with the Revised Ordinances of the City & County of Honolulu, the Property will be made available to you for your use and occupancy for a period of thirty (30) days. If you do not stay for the full 30 day period and stay for your scheduled dates the property will remain vacant through the end of the scheduled 30 day period.

Perfect stay!!!!

The location is super! Fabulous lanai by the pool where we gathered whenever we were at the house. Very comfortable beds and layout! Staff assisted us very quickly and were very helpful!!! Couldn’t ask for more!

Spring Break at Lanikai

I am so happy with this rental property!! We have stayed at different houses on the island before and this one is definitely the best! Plenty of room for our family of six. We loved the indoor outdoor living area, the pool and the proximity to the beach. You cannot beat the location. The whole house is decorated adorable and has really great artwork creating a true Hawaiian vacation feel. We will definitely be back!! Love, love, loved it!

Nice vacation home but the noise!

This is a beautiful home with three en suite bedrooms allowing for privacy; a nice fit for my 25yo daughter, my husband and myself all of whom like retreating to our own spaces! It has a nice sized swimming pool that we were able to use after our beach outings and even into the evenings. The level of noise, however, was something we defintely found distracting.The garage is on the same side of the street for public beach parking so it requires navigating traffic getting in and out.The cars parking here and their alarms going on and off can be heard throughout the day. Unfortunately, throughout our one month stay, we were subjected to the barking of multiple dogs from the neighbor's house which looks directly over the pool.This went on throughout the day and into the night. We were eventually told to call 911 when they did not respond to the property manager's calls- something we did not want to do (not our home and certainly not on vacation) but in this instance was forced to! The barking stopped intermittently in the last week but could still be heard . . If the noise does not bother you, the home is relatively large and airy and the ac works well in the bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to cook several meals off the gas stove. We also enjoyed barbecuing off a very nice outdoor grill. The house is directly across the street from the beach although there are no water views. The property manager, Misty, responded timeously to our texts. Would recommend!!

Nice grounds, house in need of update.

The grounds are beautiful & zen like. The house itself needs updating. The kitchen has limited supplies, dull knives. Hard to make meals with broken burners & empty bic lighters. The frame around the microwave was loose & fell off. The rice cooker & other dishes were dirty. Glasses were chipped. No coffee filters or dishwasher soap. The manager Misty did promptly bring these two items over. The road noise is very loud & makes it hard to sleep. There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. The street trash & recycling was overflowing when we arrived & not picked up due to the holiday. The master shower had hair, an earring backing & mold. Many of the ceiling fans were loose making them loud when in use. The bathroom does not have privacy to the bedroom & opens to the kitchen. There are bikes, surfboards & kayaks that you cannot use. In years of staying in VRBOS I’ve never stayed in a house for this price that didn’t let you use the equipment. Very frustrating to have to go rent those things. The house is beautiful, wonderful open living room, I just think it’s neglected and wish I knew to bring earplugs, sharp knives and a bathrobe prior to my arrival.

LaniKai Beach

Located steps from the famous LaniKai beach, this property was the perfect location for our vacation and our "home base" for our daughters wedding week in Hawaii. The grounds are stunning and immaculately groomed with a spectacular pool, fountain and beautiful, spacious outside lanai with a large TV and gas BBQ for dining and entertaining. The house is superbly decorated with stunning artwork and shell collections. The main house has the master bedroom, a very large living room and kitchen. The kitchen was very well appointed with appliances and cookware. In general the house has all the amenities and sundries you would expect as if someone lived there full time. The two satellite quarters are left and right off the lanai with private baths. One has AC, the other does not. This would be the perfect setup for two couples and/or a couple of teenagers looking for their own private space. As in all of LaniKai, street parking is restrictive. Walk to LaniKai beach or dinner at Buzz's, or just kick back at the pool and enjoy beautiful Hawaii.

Exactly what I expected + more!

I love the amount of space to gather with the family. It felt very homey. Each of the bedrooms are completely separate from each other. Kind of in their own cottage with their own bathroom. This house is literally walking distance from the beach- we would dip in the ocean and walk back to hop in the pool (of course after showering in the outside shower which was stocked with shampoo and body wash). If you have multiple cats, it's tough to get parking. Only one car fits in the driveway and it must be within the driveway (not an inch out or you get ticketed). There are bugs- big ones! But that's everywhere in Hawaii. Make sure to not leave anything on the floor (like your luggage) or they will get in. Other than that, I loved this place! I was here for 2 weeks and spent most of my time in the pool and at the beach- great hikes all around as well. Highly recommend for 6-8 family members.

Lanikai stay

The layout of the property was ideal for us and the house is beautiful. We love all the outdoor living space. Only negative was the kitchen for people that like to cook. Dishwasher and Stove did not work so well, although Misty was very responsive and hopefully she will have that fixed soon, but otherwsie it was the perfect place

Awesome outdoor space!

While the inside of the house was very nice, the outdoor lanai that opened out to the pool and backyard was the star! Two of the bedrooms have their own entrance off the lanai which makes it very private for each couple. Location was a one minute walk to Lanikai beach and easy access to Kailua Town. Would definitely recommend this property. Pricey, but worth it!

Beautiful property with excellent support and service from the property manager. Steps from the beach and perfect indoor/outdoor floor plan. Pool and grounds were so amazing. Furnishings were in great condition and comfortable.

Serene retreat

Ideal location steps from the perfect white sand beach, but with your own private oasis in the backyard to escape the crowds. The home is very well appointed and maintained. Clean & comfortable. The furnishings/decor inside and outside are high quality, perfectly arranged for relaxing and socializing with friends on the lanai by the pool. We appreciated the Original art throughout, and the well stocked kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our girls retreat at this home. We look forward to returning.

Lovely Stay in Lanikai

Our family spent a wonderful week at Hale Maluhia this spring. Misty and her team were very attentive and pleasant. The house is very convenient to the beach and Kailua. The backyard is a little sanctuary and the pool a slice of heaven to come home to. The house was clean and fully equipped. A few technological hiccups were immediately addressed by Misty and broken beach chairs quickly replaced. I would suggest perhaps a few more beach towels to the basket but nothing further. We will definitely be back. Aloha!

Great home for family of 5

We stayed for 5 nights over spring break with a teen, tween and grandma. The outdoor living was great, pool was a hit after spending the morning at the beach. AC in the two bedrooms was strong and the twin bed suite with a fan worked fine for kids. Outdoor shower made it easy to cleanup. 45 second walk to Lanikai beach, beach goers will be jealous of your parking spot in front of the garage. Road is a little busy in front of the house but most people will live in the backyard patio area. Tip: bottom oven heats quicker than top. Excellent stay.

Private Paradise

We were three couples and stayed here for a week. It was such a beautiful, relaxing home. A beautiful beach is just a two minute walk away. Misty was very nice and responsive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic home one house away from Lanikai Beach!

We absolutely loved this house. We were hesitant to book it because we were hoping to rent a home directly on the beach. Honestly, it was much better to be in this house instead of on the beach (which we have rented previously). The access to the beach is directly across a one way road from this house, it literally takes 2 minutes to be on the beach. This house has an extremely quiet, peaceful backyard but the real prize is the outdoor living room. We spent all of our time outside. The home is beautifully decorated (the owners have fabulous taste) and it is very comfortable. All 3 bedrooms have their own bathroom and they are very private. It is the perfect house for 6 people. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful visit. The house was all we expected and more. We had a toddler, 30-somethings and 2 seniors. Something for everyone. What a treat to have the beach literally across the street and the pool right at the house was perfect!!!! Will be back!!

Everything we could have wanted.
