Property was good, but we did have a few hiccups along the way. The shower didn’t work and needed to be repaired. Also, the AC required constant resetting in order to function properly (breaker resets). Being a first floor unit, and given all of the scooters that are parked directly across from the main sleeping area, did get noisy at times. Overall, we enjoyed it and it was a good value for the money.
Michael was a wonderful host! Very quick to respond when I had questions. It is in a safe neighborhood and on the ground floor which were my top criteria when looking for a place. Close to restaurants, a small grocery store and transportation. The layout is a bit strange. There is only one window that opens, which is in the living room. The bedroom is on the opposite end with frosted glass windows but don’t open. So we had to run the AC most of the time. You have to flip the switch in the fuse box almost every time you turn it on. It is marked in the box so it must happen all the time. That should be in the guest guide, but it’s not. There is a video on how to use the AC but nothing about the fuse. Overall we were very happy with our stay! No place is perfect, especially in old buildings. They did a great job renovating it.
