Our family celebrated our son’s Bush School graduation. This was a perfect place for a comfortable family get together! The country setting was relaxing, but it was an easy trip into town. The hosts thought of everything from bug spray to firewood. They even left a celebratory cookie for him!
Relaxing Country Atmosphere minutes away from Texas A&M
This is our go to place to stay when we visit College Station. This property is beautiful inside, with an incredible backdrop of trees, a fully stocked pond, horses and cows and a perfect view of the sunset from the wrap around porch. The house and property are maintained with care and every detail was thought of for a relaxing and comfortable get away. Highly recommend 100%
This home wants location was more than we expected! The photos don’t do it justice. The history and story about this house added even more charm! This was the perfect location for us to stay for our son’s A&M graduation. We had plenty of space for a small friend and family gathering and even could not stop saying how amazing the home and property are! We will definitely recommend this home to others and will stay again!! The owner Karen made our visit even more special by leaving a special treat and card in honor of my son’s graduation. She was very welcoming and everything was very wasy!
Our family stayed here for 2 nights to attend an Aggie football game. The location is great, only a 15 min drive from Kyle Field.
There is a catch and release pond and horses on the property, our kids loved both! Great communication from the owner and easy to find.
Stay here, you will love it!
Our family was in town for our daughter’s Ring Day celebration for Parent Weekend and we had to change our arrival/departure date last minute because our daughter could only get a time slot to pick up her ring on Thursday. Karen was quick to respond and was happy to accommodate us. When we arrived, we were blown away at how beautiful the property was. We arrived in the middle of the school week, so there was a big gap of time between our daughter’s Ring pick up and Ring Dunk, so we really got to appreciate Ma and Pa’s house and property. They even gave my daughter an Aggie Congratulations cookie cake and the sweetest note. Love the history around the house and having only one bathroom was no problem at all for us. This house is beautifully and carefully laid out. We fished on the dock, sat on the wrap around porch and listened to the birds chirping and frogs croaking while cows and horses were grazing in the background at sunset. We played board games, used the coffee bar, watched some baseball on tv, and our two sons (17 and 22), had plenty of room to do their own thing, because this house is so spacious. It was supposed to only be a landing place between our daughter’s events, but ended up being more of a vacation at a family friend’s house. We didn’t get to use the fire pit, outdoor grill, or corn hole set this time, but we will next time for sure. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this house and surrounding area. Beautiful country landscape and only minutes away from HEB grocery, restaurants and shopping. We are absolutely coming back!
Absolute blast ! House was great and we got to pet some of the horses that greeted us while we were bass fishing . My 7 year old grandson caught his first bass all alone here . 5 stars !
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at your delightful farm house. It was clean, peaceful, and comfortable with all needed amenities. We certainly would return. Thank you.
We traveled into College Station for a quick little getaway and this home truly made the trip so special. It is so peaceful with scenic views and just feels like home (away from home). We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning! Karen was a great hostess and stayed in contact throughout the stay. Thanks for hosting us! :)
Nanny and Pa’s place is sweet, bright, clean and warm. Karen went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. Every side of the home has a nice country view. We loved sitting around the fire pit under the stars and the oak trees at night. We hope to return year after year!
This was a great place for our group of friends to gather for a football weekend. It is outside of town but directly off the highway so easy access to campus and restaurants. The house included everything that we needed for the weekend. The porch overlooks the pond and is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the horses in the pasture. We would love to stay again the next time we are in town.
