The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. The kitchen has been equipped with all the essentials, including a full-size fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher coffee maker, and microwave, and a breakfast bar for six. Don't hesitate and surprise your loved ones with savory meals and beach snacks during your stay. The living area is all about comfort and coziness with inviting furniture and a TV. Then, make your way over to the private balcony and get ready to experience a picture-perfect sun set that will blow your mind! The on-site washer/dryer adds convenience to your stay.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Our unit, overall, was beautiful and the views of the beach/ocean were spectacular. It was the perfect space for our family of three to enjoy breakfast together, and to relax after spending the day taking in all OC has to offer. The unit was clean and the kitchen island/bar area large and welcoming ~ a great gathering space. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in unit 1515!

Needs some major improvements

Unfortunately this property was not as advertised. Upon arrival, it had not been cleaned properly. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, dirty/hair on the floor, broken blinds, and used dirty clothing on the floor left over from previous guests. Unfortunately, we had to check out early due to the conditions of this property and find other accommodations. Really disappointing experience.

Great location but could use work

The location in Golden Sands and high floor was awesome. The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely remodeled. However, the walls and floors were dirty. The master bedroom TV did not work, and the remote had corroded batteries. The master bedroom blinds were broken so the sun woke us up every morning at 6am. While we would go back to Golden Sands, we would not pick this unit.

Great ocean view

We loved the ocean view from our bedroom and balcony. The outdoor facilities were great and we enjoyed having lunch and local beers on the deck. Some of the reasons we didn’t give a five star rating include the elevator service, cleanliness and overall maintenance of the condo. There are 4 elevators in the building, they were usually crowded and we had to wait for one for several minutes, especially during check-in. When we arrived, the condo had sand on the floor and some appliances were dusty.

Not worth the price- even with the great view

The view was great. The building is nice with hardworking staff and friendly owners. But… The AC could not keep up with the heat. It was unbearable in the morning and with a health condition, I was miserable. The blinds were difficult to operate/broken. The bedding/pillows were dingy and stained. Not usable. Not enough seating in the living room. Dirty balcony. Screens had holes and allowed bugs to enter. Hairballs randomly appearing on the floors. Vacuum did not work for cleaning up sand. Broom was gross and old. Weird variety of dishes and silverware. Bathroom door lock sticks and you get stuck in there. TVs/remotes did not work properly. The one in the second bedroom was so old it had no adapter for Roku device. Elevators were so hot and crowded. Not much to be done about that, except maybe a ventilation upgrade or staggering check ins for guests to avoid a pileup. No dish drainer. Luggage bins were dirty. Parking space is really tight for anything bigger than a car. We actually left early because of all these things. A little touch up paint would go a long way too. I would stay in the building again on a lower floor and with a different owner.

Very dirty. Broken balcony acreen. Strained furniture. Broken light switch, burned out bulbs

Had not been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time to have such a build up of dirt. Master shower was particularly gross. Broken balcony screen , several burned out light bulbs , broken electrical switch hanging made us afraid to turn off that light for fear we wouldn't get it back on again , stained dirty furniture that we didn't want to sit on, living room TV did not work. Let Vacasa know and just sent "canned " texts in response. Would never recommend that anyone stay here.... EVER.

Unit was clean and furnishings were nice and bed was comfortable. View was awesome. Cable is minimal with no steaming devices. Bring your own fire stick because there is no smart tvs. The small chair in living room had stains. The elevators are horrible. Be ready to wait a long time for an empty elevator. It could have used a broom. But tiki bar is great. And Vacasa was nice and always available. The toilet clogged once and there was a leak in the ceiling.

Second bathroom was clogged all week and no help

Everything was great except for the fact that on the very first day the second bathroom shower/tub drain and toilet were clogged. Four people using one bathroom all week when we paid for two is unacceptable. Vacasa will not be in business long if this is how they treat their customers. I will no longer use their service or anything to do with them including VRBO if they partner with them going forward. Horrific experience and the only bad one in 30 years of going to the Golden Sands.

Almost A 5 Star

Really enjoyed our stay in Golden Sands1515.BUT would have received a 5 Star rating if a few items had been taken care of before we checked into Suite 1515. The view from the living/bedroom balcony are fantastic!!! plus the views living/bedroom can been seen everywhere you and the sound of the Atlantic Ocean are everything you can want on a vaction. Little things that would have earned a 5 Star rating. This would include the cleaning of the living/ dining room and balcony chairs (stains and sand on chairs), sand and crumbs on the floor and balcony, dust on ceiling fan, bathroom exhaust fans, and the air conditioning/heating vents plus dirty and rusted pans in the cabinets. We were also 2 days without use of bedroom tv because of a missing remote. The dust pan also was missing. We were told the manager for this vacasa facility would call back to dicuss our concerns about the maintenance of the unit never happened during our stay. Hopefully our concerns will be addressed for the customers who will check in after our stay.
