This attractive suite is the perfect place to call home during a fun-filled beach getaway with someone you love! Spend your days in the cool waters of the Atlantic then come home to rinse away the sand with the private washer/dryer. Explore the many on-site amenities that include a shared pool, sauna, and tennis. You can entertain your guests in the living area or out on the private balcony before serving up a delicious meal prepared in the full kitchen. This beachfront condo is ideally located within walking distance of various dining and shopping options; you can also take the bus for hassle-free travel to your favorite destinations. The historic Ocean City Boardwalk, with its carnival atmosphere, great food, and superb nightlife, is located five miles south. You can also plan a fun family day at Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Splash Mountain Waterpark, only four miles south.

The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms. During the summer season, you can visit the beach bar and grill, the sandwich shop, the convenience store, and our gift shops.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The place floor’s where very dirty and the mattress need to be upgraded. The mattress appeared to be very old and could feel the springs.

I wish I would have know that the linens were included before I ordered one. Nobody got back to me when I sent a message until after we were home from the trip. Other than that, it was amazing and I’ll look to book the same room next Easter .

Great stay at the Golden Sands

We enjoyed our short two night stay. The condo was clean and very convenient to the beach. I was concerned that noise might be an issue since the condo was on the first floor, but we didn’t hear any noise from the patio below even though it was busy both days. The only issue was a few missing/broken slats in the plantation shutters in the primary bedroom and a closet door in the guest room was off its track. I reported it the first day and someone came to the condo the next day. The shutter wasn't fixed by the time we left, but these looked like custom shutters and I doubt there is a quick fix. Overall we would stay again!

Unit is okay but HOT

Unit is okay but really HOT and AC was unable to be fixed. AC was at 76 and couldn’t get lower for most of the week even with all doors blinds closed (and low 60s outside a few days). Maintenance man said there was nothing that could be done besides change a filter. Master shower had barely any water pressure. Dryer needed 240 minutes to dry the clothes. Pretty dirty and run down overall. Good location and great amenities outside of the unit itself.

Great location but unit had some issues

The location was fantastic. Great beach access with chair & umbrella rental if you need. Complex had two clean pools. Deli & grill had decent food (not a lot of vegetarian options though). Convenient mini mart, ice cream & gift shop on property. Nightly entertainment was great: steal drum singer, DJ and games for all ages. But the unit wasn’t great. Shower dripped all night. Two rolls of TP left for FOUR people for FOUR days! Shower water pressure low. Hot water ran out fast. Many outlets didn’t work or were so loose things fell out when plugged in. No towels for pool. Had W& D but towels were small white hotel towels, not good for pool. No one followed the “after 9 pm quiet,” rule. Music ended after 10 and kids, drunk people running up & down halls almost all night. This was likely most bothersome to us as we were on first floor, direct access to bar/elevators to beach, other floors may be less noisy. LOVED the location but other items could use some attention. I’d definitely come back but with TP and towels, possibly some back up batteries as we couldn’t plug in all devices to charge in janky wall outlets!

Air conditioning was awful never got under 75 and leaky bathroom we called about on first day but was never fixed and it was NOT clean.. not very happy after many years of renting with coldwell banker and I also come to find out I was charged a linen package that I did not request!

Don't stay here

This was the worst travel experience I have ever had, and the first poor review I have ever written. This place has huge potential, but they were 100% unhelpful when we asked for things as simple as clean linens. We arrived and were given our keys. No friendly smile or welcome. We walked to the condo and the door was open. The place was not cleaned. A bad of dirty linens and towels were in the hallway in front of washer and dryer.. All 3 beds were stripped. No spare linens or blankets anywhere. We went to talk to check in folks and were told clean linens would be brought up in a few minutes. We then realized the dish washer was full of dirty dishes. 2 hours later (before office staff left for day) we stopped in to ask about linens and again were told they would send someone right away. Fast-forward 5 hours a few phone calls to the VBRO office and we were continually told clean linens would be brought to our room in a few minutes. At 11pm we were told we could go buy new linens and be reimbursed (um...a little late in the night for that). The issues continued. One bathroom drain was broken. Decided not to use as the water would run into cabinet and ruin cabinet. The box spring on 1 bed was completely broken. The only basic kitchen item was salt and pepper. No other spices, coffee, etc. Cooking meals was difficult. No cookie sheets, baking pan, broiler pan, Tupperware, plastic wrap foil........no basics except for cups, plates and utensils. I travel 6+ times per year. I have never complained nor posted a bad review. We asked before booking about indoor pool to ensure it would be open during are stay. We were told yes. It was not. I could go on and on but I won't. The view is gorgeous. There is huge potential but they did absolutely nothing to fix such a simple thing as providing linens (yes, we specifically booked this place because they mentioned providing linens in their advertisement - others said linens were NOT provided). So disappointed by something so fixable.
