Hale Kona Kai unit 312 is one of our most popular units at Hale Kona Kai. This 3rd floor corner unit features a wraparound lanai facing west and south for full, unobstructed ocean views and the best possible breeze! The unit has been beautifully updated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay on top of the ocean. Central air conditioning keeps the unit comfortable, especially on those warmer days and nights. The most up-to-date internet/wifi equipment' features high speed wifi, a necessity for "working" remotely where Zoom conference calls may be necessary. Watch never-ending spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your lanai.

Amenities include:
Beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and cooler.
Small appliances include a hair dryer and iron.
Designated parking stall at no charge

The ocean is teeming with life! Sit on your lanai and watch spinning dolphins year around and humpback breaching just offshore during the winter and spring months. Turtles and eels find plenty of sustenance in the tide pools. Wake up and fall asleep to the calming sound of the ocean.

Hale Kona Kai is a special complex right on the ocean in the heart of Kona. It is a short walk to anything you need; restaurants, entertainment, shopping and beaches. An elevator provides easy access. The property boasts an oceanfront pool. BBQ area is located at the south end of the property. Coin Laundry rooms are available on each floor. An elevator allows for easy access.

The island has many resort-quality golf courses, the closest one within 5 miles. There are plenty of places to snorkel from shore, or take a snorkeling cruise. Kona offers world-class fishing opportunities. Catch an ono for dinner or a world record Pacific Blue Marlin. The Big Island has 13 climates and many cool things to do and explore, from a live volcano to botanical gardens and country living to great beaches, snorkeling and surfing opportunities.

Condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nice, 270 deg. view with nice sunsets. Needs an updated entry into the condo. Elevator and laundry on the floor was a great plus. Compound a little dated.

Beautiful Condo
We were so impressed with this lovely condo. The view is probably the best on the island and location is within walking distance from town and many restaurants and attractions. We did have a little trouble when checking in, as the lock box with the key was corroded and it took a little time to open it. We tried to reach out to the property manager with a couple of questions and concerns and we were told that someone would be getting back to us but no one ever did. No big deal really and we had a wonderful time. I would certainly recommend this condo to anyone going to Kailua Kona!

Loved The View
Loved the view. We had two whale sightings during our stay while enjoying morning coffee on the lanai. Room came with all the amenities. One thing we would have liked is a washer/drier in the room, rather than down the hall. Close proximity to Kona shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful View
Beautiful view; we saw lots of wildlife, cruise ships, and surfers. Kitchen is well appointed with cookware and utensils. Linens were nice. Unit was very clean and neat when we arrived. (Carpet could use a good cleaning.) It would have been nice if the shade worked on the lanai. It can be a bit noisy when the surf is high, but you sure can't beat the view.
