This cozy beach cottage is on the Peninsula, nestled between the ocean and the bay. You are just steps from Alamitos Bay on one side, and the historic wooden boardwalk and the beach, on the other.
Corporate travelers and Regatta participants welcome! You are walking distance to ABYC and close to LBYC if you are here for a regatta.
Relax and recharge in this welcoming, private, accommodation. Queen bed and 1/2 bath in separate room, full living, dining and kitchen.
Soak up some Southern California sunshine or enjoy cool afternoon breezes.
It is just a short drive to the Convention Center, the Aquarium of the Pacific, Memorial Hospital or CSULB. Fast WiFi for work. Rates are much more reasonable than downtown hotels.
Corporate users - skip the hotel and enjoy a well appointed home away from home for work with more amenities than any hotel could provide. Longer term stays available. Weekly and monthly discounts.
Away from Ocean Blvd, this cottage is cozy, quiet and secluded.
(we are just steps from the sand on the Peninsula!)

We'll put a little breakfast, chips & dip and Nespresso or ground or bean coffee in your fully appointed kitchen. Eat healthy in your own kitchen or enjoy the "restaurant row" on 2nd Street just 1 mile away. Start your morning with a walk along the bay.
There are beach chairs & towels, an umbrella and table for your time on the sand. Kayak and stand up paddle board rentals are available just down the bay. Bikes and scooters rentals are also available in the area. Street parking; no permit required.

Close to shops and restaurants on 2nd Street (Belmont Shore, and 2nd & PCH). Or drive to watch the Dodgers or the Angels play some baseball! SOFI stadium, Disneyland, Movie Studios and more - a great base for your local travels.

This 1940s cottage was amazing! Its beautiful nautical/beach decor and large outdoor deck provided the perfect place to relax. The owner made checking in and out incredibly convenient enabling us to focus solely on enjoying our stay. We look forward to returning soon!

Cottage on the Peninsula

The upstairs cottage is sweet and charming. It’s quiet, private, comfortable, and homey. The neighborhood is quiet and the proximity to both the bay and the ocean couldn’t be closer. I had a very enjoyable stay!

Great location on the peninsula. No ocean view, but you can hear the ocean, especially at night. The beach and bay are very close. Natalie is very nice and considerate.The bed is good as is the shower. The apartment is a little worn and the bedroom is tight. The living and dining area are good-sized.Night parking can be a challenge.Overall, a nice place to stay. We enjoyed our stay.

I believe this is my 5th time at this property and it won't be my last. I have to travel for business and it is like home away from home. Much better than a one room hotel for a similar price. Great place by the beach.

This place was perfect for my husband + I. We enjoyed daily walks to the beach (which is literally a few doors down), and the host was very gracious by providing some breakfast food, fresh berries, as well as great coffee. This is a quiet neighborhood just like we prefer. Sitting on the sun deck with a book, cup of coffee and sun shine can’t be beat. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Natalie for being a great host!!

Very cute property located about 1/2 block either way between the beach on the marina side or the Pacific on the other side. The property owner was so sweet and made sure we had what we needed. Perfect from start to finish

A perfect place to experience the peninsula. Natalie greeted us when we arrived and guided us in things to do. We loved that there was some welcome things in the fridge and coffee Juice and bagels to start our stay. The wine was a nice touch to finish that first day without having to run to the store. Our 9-day stay at the beach house was everything we had hoped for and more. Nestled between the ocean and the bay we appreciated that it was quiet and serene. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable and clean. Natalie provided amenities we never would have received at a hotel or probably any other vrbo: from a bowl of delicious tangerines on the dining table, three types of coffees, teas, oatmeal, tortilla chips plus berries, creamer and salsa in the fridge, to beach towels, chairs, sun & rain umbrellas, surf board, make up remover... I mean really... where else would you find such care!

My husband and I really loved Natalie’s hospitality and home. It’s extremely clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Just what we wanted! Natalie helped us with places we were wanting to shop, visit, etc. She also provided some delicious food for breakfast. She went above and beyond for everything! Long Beach is not only its own City, but it's close to both Orange County and Los Angeles County attractions, sites, and destinations. From the Angels to the Dodgers for baseball, SoFi Stadium for football and concerts, or Disneyland and more, Long Beach is equidistance to both LA and OC.
The Peninsula is a quiet, peaceful location for your travels. And the beach cottage is tucked away just off the sand.
