Formia (in the ancient world Formiae) is an Italian port and seaside resort with a mild climate all year round, surrounded by hills that also invite you to go hiking. The thermal wind is suitable for all water sports such as surfing, kitesurfing, sailing. Formia with about 40,000 inhabitants is in the province of Latina, in the Lazium region.
The city is 110 km south of Rome, 90 km from Naples.
The apartment is on the 2nd Upper floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 bath / shower toilet, living room with open kitchen, a large balcony, covered outside seating area with table and chairs, and private parking.
In 10 minutes on foot you can reach the sea (sandy beach). For daily shopping, shops are 5 minutes away on foot. in 5 minutes by car you can reach a large shopping center with over 30 shops. The center of Formia with the port and the train station with links Roma-Napoli, can also be reached by local bus (stop 4 minutes from the house) every Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm. 00 the big weekly market takes place. in about 1 hour you can reach Roma, Napoli, Pompej, Pontine Islands, as well as La Reggia di Caserta, Monte Cassino 1 / 2h.
The Amalfi Coast is 2 hours away.

Nel complesso positivo

La casa è giusta per ospitare più nuclei famigliari..adatto anche ai bambini visto che l'appartamento è provvisto di un piccolo cancello intermedio sulla Rampa di scale che collega il portone alla porta principale. La distanza dal mare è fattibile..anche se un po'pesante da fare sotto il sole. Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato soddisfacente.. l'appartamento era pulito ed avevamo a disposizione asciugamani e lenzuola.. Inoltre i proprietari si sono dimostrati disponibili nel farci fare il check-in prima dell'orario previsto. Unica nota negativa è che il proprietario è entrato nell'appartamento a nostra insaputa per annaffiare i fiori e che ha chiuso dentro casa i miei genitori ( rimasti a casa perché non si sentivano bene) pensando che ci fossimo dimenticati di chiudere a chiave il cancello. A parte questo siamo stati cmq bene, ognuno aveva i propri spazi ed è comodo che ci siano due bagni.

la ringrazio per la sua recensione. Da parte mia, la descrizione della presunta entrata nel`appartamento non è accettabile non mi permetterei mai una cosa del genere che sia ben chiaro! Ho annaffiato la fioriera sulla balconata esterna(!) raggiungedola tramite cancelletto e scala esterna(!) Giuseppe Assante
