This is a great location as it is located next to buffalo mountain and the outlaw trails. it is nice to be able to leave the truck here and take your sxs everywhere you go. We had room for a 24' and a 34' trailer to get into the property.
Keurig, coffee, pods, clean, all the plumbing and lights worked. It was in the top two nicest places we’ve ever been while coming to Hatfield McCoy for 15 years!
The home was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable. We loved staying here, there was a lot of room for everyone in our group. Water hear was plenty big enough to handle a big crowd. Thank you.
Great place to stay for the trails.
Host was awesome!
House house was nice and clean.
Short ride by bike to Buffalo Mountain.
Definitely would stay here again.
Home was clean and well maintained. Location worked out great for getting to the Buffalo Mountain and Devil Anse trails. We really enjoyed our stay in the area.
The house was very clean and stocked with everything you might need. The black stone grill was a huge bonus. There was even everything for outdoor fire and plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. The neighbors were also very nice. The owner was very responsive with any questions that we had.
Definitely that down home country feel! We enjoyed most of our time outside at the fire pit. Very nice neighbors and some friendly dogs that welcomed us to the neighborhood! The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials which made it nice to have available. Comfortable, quiet stay!
This was our second time staying . They people are so sweet and awesome . We had a problem with the bathroom sink and they were there to fix it on the spot .. Can’t ask for better service.
Our stay was perfect!! The rental more than accommodated our group of 9 and everything was amazing! The house was well stocked with everything from coke ware and dishes to bathroom towels and plenty of bed linens. The owner made sure we had directions from the property to all the trails, permit purchasing, gas, local eateries and grocery location. It was a fabulous stay and we’re already planning our next visit! We couldn’t have been happier with the host and property! Everything from the initial booking to departure was seamless and easy!
We had a wonderful weekend staying in the area. Perfect location to stay at for the Hatfield McCoy Marathon. Only 7 min drive to South Williamson. The house was perfect for our party of 5, although more people can be accommodated. The house was clean and kitchen was stocked. Elizabeth was a great host, very responsive and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this place to Marathon Maniacs who are looking to run a marathon in the state of WVA or KY.
Stayed at location for our first visit to HMT. The house was convenient and worked out well. We had a party of 10 and we had plenty of space. Plenty of room for vehicles and trailers as well. We planned our riding were we ended in Williamson for dinner at 3guys which was a short road ride ride back to the house. Owner is very responsive to any questions! The provided blackstone made doing breakfast quick and easy for the group.
Would stay again!
Overall good stay. Close to the trails and had what we needed. Carport was nice to keep our buggies in overnight to keep the rain off of them. The only thing I wish we knew ahead of time was the fourth ‘bedroom’ was in the basement area that could only be accessed by going outside. Wasn’t a huge deal, but had to switch around how we planned to sleep everyone as I didn’t feel comfortable putting the kids down there without direct access to the adults.
The Mountain Mamma has it all! Great Hatfield ATV trip!
Our stay was great!!!! We had 8 in our group, and we had plenty of room. The Mountain Mamma could comfortably accommodate 13 people and that is no couch sleeping!! The house was clean and had everything that we could ever need and more. The beds were super comfortable! There were plenty of towels, tons of pillows, blankets, laundry supplies, toiletries, many different types of coffees (K-cup and brew), fridge condiments, spices, firewood, and the space for parking was amazing. We were only 2 miles from the Buffalo Mountain trailhead and 2 miles into town. The basement was equipped with just about everything that the upstairs was, bathroom, shower, microwave, fridge, sink, even a pool table. I 100% recommend The Mountain Mamma to everyone who wants a great clean place with plenty of room, good parking, easy trail access, and not to have to worry about what they may have forgot because The Mountain Mamma has plenty of extras!!!!
The house was great! Very well stocked with everything we needed and much more. Lots of room and we were able to house our entire group. Lots of room to park trucks and trailers. Owner/host was very responsive and helpful. Definitely will stay again.
