Welcome to Le Pigeonnier,

Old farmhouse of character in the Périgord Noir which will welcome you in a green setting in a peaceful and charming hamlet near Belvès, a medieval city classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

You will enjoy a magnificent swimming pool with a small children's pool and its shaded terraces.

The cottage and its swimming pool will be exclusively reserved for you and are not overlooked.

The gîte du Pigeonnier is an old farmhouse in old stones. It opens onto a square courtyard to the south and a shaded terrace to the north.

The cottage perfectly combines the new and the old to offer you a comfortable experience in a charming building.

The cottage is composed on the ground floor of a fully equipped modern kitchen and laundry room and a large living room with access to the terrace.

On the ground floor you will have 3 bedrooms with double beds of 160 and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower.

On the second floor you will enjoy a large open living room with a sofa area and a large screen coupled with a DVD player and a Chromecast allowing you to project your digital content. You will also find a double bed of 140 extra beds. We have the possibility of installing one or two single beds if necessary.
This living room/dormitory is extended by a "suite" composed of a large bedroom and its bathroom which can be private or not.

We can also lend you one or more baby cots.

The cottage is fully equipped: 5-burner stove, microwave, oven, gas plancha on the terrace, barbecue, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board/iron, wifi etc.

You will live 2 kilometres from the centre of Belvès, a magnificent medieval town officially classified as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France".

The village with its breathtaking view of the Nauze valley offers you all the necessary amenities: local producers' shop, small supermarket, greengrocer, butcher, bakery, restaurants, bars, tobacconist, pharmacy, post office, wine shop, tourist office etc.PGJyPg
The Pigeonnier cottage is ideally located in the heart of the Périgord Noir. It is located close to the region's emblematic villages and castles (Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Beynac-et-Cazenac, Monpazier etc.) and 20 km south of Sarlat, a city not to be missed for its gastronomy and history.PGJyPg
The swimming pool measures 12 by 6 metres; it is equipped with security alarms.

The swimming pool is not heated because it is too large and overflowing.
The swimming pool is open from May to September inclusive.

The cottage naturally stays cool all summer long.

A little extra clarification, you can hear the song of the chickens from the nearby micro organic farm but it has never bothered anyone, quite the contrary! And so we offer you good organic eggs on your arrival!
