'Wildwood in the Pines' is a rustic log home with some elegant and unique features located in Jay, NY. This cozy cabin has pine interior, heated tile floors, and a beautiful rock fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area, loft, two large bedrooms, family room with rustic bar, laundry room, two full bathrooms and a large deck makes this an ideal four season getaway for a family or a group of friends.

'Wildwood in the Pines' is located less than 9 miles from Whiteface Mountain and only a 20 mile scenic ride to the Village of Lake Placid and the Olympic Center Complex. Montreal, Canada and Burlington, Vermont are less than two hours away (great day trips!)

The High Peaks area of the Adirondacks offers many activities such as hiking, golf, biking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice skating, as well as shopping and fine dining in nearby Lake Placid. Fish in the Ausable River or swim in the famous 'Jay Swimming Hole'!

This quiet spot is also ideal for that much needed rest and relaxation. Read a book on the deck, take a walk, or relax in the whirlpool tub.

Beautiful home, well maintained, and very nicely nestled in the woods. There is a lot of up and down stairs as the main entrance is the basement level and kitchen is on the second floor. The only tv is in the loft (we wanted to catch the Bills game). Plenty of attractions, hiking, fishing in the area.

Clean and comfortable chalet

A very cozy stay. all amenities were on point and the place was very clean and well maintained. Only thing that I'd say is missing is a wood burning fireplace, but the heated floors almost fully make up for that. Overall great stay, highly recommend and would rebook.
