Spend time in a charming historic home in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Warm days and cool nights. The Penney House is one of Waynesville's most treasured vacation houses. Now, you can rent this home, built by the J.C. Penney family, for your visit. Overlooks Waynesville CC golf course. Recently renovated designer kitchen, dining, family room, large river rock fireplace, large veranda. Master with King Bed and ensuite bath, guest room with queen and bath all on the main floor. Upstairs are 1 BR with 2 twins and 1 BR with a Full Bed. Parking for 3. Staggering Views, but only 5 minutes from Grocery and commercial conveniences. 5-minute drive, 30-minute walk to downtown Waynesville, and 15-minute walk to Hazelwood district. The Penney House is a perfect home base in Waynesville where you can stay while you shop, fish, sightsee, golf, explore, camp, dine out, or just relax.
