We stayed one night passing through to our final destination. From making the reservation to check out, everything was seamless. Room was very clean and roomy.quaint
This sweet spot has everything we needed! Comfy beds and pillows, and nice little extras like snacks and bottled water! It's right on the edge of town and quiet. Perfect for pets, too! We met one of the hosts and he was super! They were quick to communicate and helped us greatly with our last minute booking.
It was just ok for one night. My bed was not comfortable. Lots of noises from other guests (next door and upstairs) woke me up many times during the night. I did not rest well. We were up and out by 6:30.
I thought it was a cabin for some reason? Turns out it's a Motel. Plus side: The owner, Clay, is nice and accomodating. The Red River area is gorgeous - cool breezes, moutain ranges, and a river, of course. Down side - We had 2 windows in our unit. One faced the neighbors behind the motel; the other faced a staircase that everyone who stayed on the top floor used. Each time someone used that staircase (all day long), they had a full view of our unit each time. The floor is crooked, so when we sat at the table to eat, you'd end up sliding across the kitchen floor on the wheeled dining room chair. It's a little cramped even for just 3 people and 1 dog. Also note there is NO laundry facility. As a woman traveling alone with kids, I felt a little unsafe with everyone having a full view of my room and the front-facing window locking mechanism isn't great.
Loved staying here with my mother and 4 year old daughter. The room had all the things needed for our 3 night stay. Loved visits from the deer and chipmunks and not far from downtown red river.
