We had a wonderful stay. The host were very accommodating and super friendly and sweet. We had a later flight out then our check out and we were able to store our luggage and come back for it much later. Beds were super comfortable and the set up was great. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home!
We appreciated being able to stay near our son and family in DC for Thanksgiving. Great neighborhood for walking, restaurants, sight-seeing, access to transportation!
My friends and I loved our stay here. The location was great! The Property Manager was very communicative. The kitchen was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. I would book again. I highly recommend this property.
Wonderful VRBO!! loved that the owner supplied enough detergent paper towels, and other products. We flew into Washington and we couldn’t bring much with us. Beds were so comfortable and the living area had comfortable seating also. I feel that the checkout time was to early 10: 00….. like to see that change.
This was the perfect spot for our recent visit. Very clean first floor apartment, updated kitchen and bathroom, comfortable beds. Great location, beautiful neighborhood - easy walk to Eastern Market. Lincoln Park is right at the corner. Plentiful street parking. Alison quickly responded to enquiries. Highly recommended!
The apartment was perfect for us! The apartment was cute, clean, and above all, quiet! It's in a great family friendly and safe neighborhood, a few blocks from a convenient Metro stop. Communication with our hosts was stellar and they have thought of everything. Thank you for creating such a lovely place to stay :)
We had a wonderful time in DC! My husband and two kids- ages 8 and 10, loved the location and safeness of this property. Allison was available and helpful with recommendations. It’s located near several restaurants and a fairly quick walk to the metro. We had fun exploring the city and coming home to a comfortable place to rest up for the next day. Would definitely recommend this location!
Location! Location! Location! Perfect location in a charming neighborhood was ideal for our family of 4! Alison was a great host who let us to check in early and was quick to answer all my questions! The appartment was very clean, and with enough space for all of us. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Washington DC. It makes you feel like you local, not a tourist.
What an incredible neighborhood and place! We walked, took the metro, met a sweet neighbor down the street who showed us some historic architecture and felt right at home. Each day we explored museums but were excited to come back to the feeling of home in the eastern market-Lincoln Park neighborhood. I will recommend this to all my friends traveling to the city with families. The flat was comfortable, clean, and safe. Much gratitude to Alison.
The property was exactly as advertised. The property manager/owner/host was very responsive with communications. My wife and I stayed for a week, along with our 20 year old daughter. There was plenty of space/beds for us and all the amenities we needed to have a wonderful VRBO experience were available in the apartment. Due to my wife's disability, we needed to have a car and even the parking was easy and always on the same block, even once right in front of the apartment.
Everything we needed was very close as we visited the nearby deli, Italian restaurant, weekend farmer/craft market at Eastern Market and even groceries from Trader Joe's. Everything was easy walking distance including the Eastern Market Metro Station. And it's only a mile to the Capitol Building if you're so inclined to walk there. The neighborhood is quite lovely and I always felt very safe. There were families having picnics at the nearby park, people running and walking dogs everywhere, and lots of people on scooters and bikes as well. It was a great base of operations for our trips to monuments, museums, Arlington, National Zoo even a trip to the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
We walked to the capitol and National Mall, and could walk to many restaurants. The historical neighborhood is so cute, and we were really comfortable there. The four of us shared the bathroom, but it was no problem. We loved our stay!
We had a really great stay during a long weekend in Nov 2022. East access to the Mall and also in striking distance to bay bridge / things east of DC. Host was tremendously kind and responsive. Highly recommend for any couple and/or family with bunk-bed sized kids!
We loved this spot for our family stay in DC. The tree lined streets are beautiful and very typical of what you think of with lots of historic row houses. The area has a great neighborhood feel with lots of parents with strollers, people walking dogs and grandparents. I really appreciated the big binder of info Alison had to help orient you to the area. It is a beautiful 15 or so minute walk right to the Capitol. We rode the metro and bus to get around but parking was easy right in front of the house too. We really loved it!
Loved the neighborhood. If you enjoy walking it is close enough to Capitol and Smithsonian. We brought an inflatable bed for an adult since 2 beds are bunk beds.
