This vacation was easy to navigate with smooth booking for accommodations in an excellent location. The Metro is within walking distance to make getting places easier. There are few eateries near the house, but we did a Walmart delivery to save eating out too often especially in the morning. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. Safe and friendly neighborhood.

This rowhouse was perfect for our stay. It was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and in an excellent location within walking distance of all of the major sites we wanted to see. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. There were ample restaurants and a large grocery store within a few blocks. If you are into fun divey-not-divey bars, be sure to check out Ivy & Coney, just around the block on 7th. Five stars, all around.

Great Stay!

We had a great time staying at Kelly’s row house. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from Georgetown Law and this provided the perfect place for us to have a home base to come back to after a variety of events and doing a little sightseeing. Had everything we needed!

Perfect spot

We had a lovely stay at this home. Tastefully decorated and well appointed with all the essentials. It was the perfect spot to stay while in town for a family wedding. It was a great neighborhood with coffee shops and restaurants only a block or 2 away. Highly recommended.

Clean, central, updated, and fit is just right

The home looks brand new. Everything was new, clean, and comfortable. The location was central to where we wanted to be. The Shaw/HU train stop was super close so we were able to take the metro every where. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Good launching point

We had a great stay at the property. It has just enough of everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The bbq pit was a great benefit. It’s a little bit of a walk to the metro, but very doable. Grocery store is VERY convenient. Some steep stairs to get in, but we were able to haul luggage up and down ok.

Family trip to Washington DC

Had a good stay at Kelly’s place for a couple of days during our trip to Washington DC. It is very conveniently located and a good place for a family of 4. The apartment is nicely kept and has the right amenities for a family. We had a good time relaxing and doing fun things in the evenings as well with the board games at the apartment. Thanks Kelly!

Wonderful stay!

The house was very clean, spacious for our family of 6 and convenient to downtown DC and all of the tourist sites. Easy to catch and Uber or rent a bike/scooter. Parking wasn’t super convenient, but owner provided us with info about nearby parking options ahead of time so we knew what to expect in advance. Owner provided great communication. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again!

Great location and house!

We loved our weekend stay here! We were in town over a long weekend for a show and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There’s a grocery store nearby and it’s a short walk to the Metro. We also walked to the Mall from the house once, which at roughly 1.5 miles isn’t a short walk with a stroller, but it was definitely doable. Overall we thought the location was perfect for seeing the typical DC attractions, and the house was comfortable and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again if back in town.

Offering a modern and fully renovated and furnished home that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. This unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen to include a Keurig coffee machine (coffee pods, creamer, and sugar included), cookware, dishes/utensils, dishwasher, microwave and full size fridge.

The living room also comes equipped with a 55" flat screen TV (Netflix/Premium cable channels) and a sofa that will comfortably seat you and your guests and if need be, also serve as a queen sofa sleeper (additional linens & blankets, included). On the main floor you will also have access to a half bathroom as well as an outdoor patio/deck area with a dining/seating area and BBQ propane grill free of use, if needed. Board games such as Jenga, Monopoly, Connect Four, Scrabble, and more are also included for a fun simple night in with family & friends.

There are two bedrooms on the upper level. One comes with a queen size bed, large closet, full body mirror and a 45" flat screen TV (Netflix/Premium cable channels). The other bedroom/office comes with a queen sized Murphy wall bed that can be pulled down when/if needed. There is one full bathroom (shower) in the unit (upper level) that comes fully stocked with shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and fresh towels and washcloths for the guests use.

Other amenities such as an iron/ironing board, high chair, playpen and baby gates are available free of cost/use, if needed.

Just a short 5-10 minute walk (.4 mi) from two metro stations (Shaw-Howard University station & Mt Vernon Sq. 7th St-Convention Center), less than a mile to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Capital One Arena, Gallery Place/Chinatown, City Center, Logan Circle and just a short ride to DC's most memorable touristic attractions such Smithsonian museums, Washington Monument, The White House, etc.

In lieu of metro riding, one can also order a taxi or there are plenty of Ubers/Lyfts in area if needed as well as the Capital Bike Share bike and/or portable riding scooters such as Bird, Lime, Spin, etc.
