While relaxing on the huge deck overlooking the river, you will hear the roaring rapids, see the abundance of wildlife and be wowed by the breathtaking views. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath cabin sits on 1 1/2 acres that will give you a rustic feel with modern conveniences. The moderate hike to the river will lead you thru the woods and past many additional river viewing spots. There are two fire pits available to make your smores and memories. The space The cabin has 2 bedrooms (2 queen) on the main level and the master (king) upstairs. There is a full basement with a washer/dryer and game rooms. It also has central heat & air. There is a full bathroom on every level and 2 walkout decks overlooking the woods and river. The kitchen has recently (5/2023) been redone with all new cabinets and granite countertops. Guest access It is in a gated community with 4 access gates. We recommend coming in the main gate only. It is a huge resort with lots of twisty roads. We are located about 3 miles from that gate with only 5 turns required. Most roads are paved, only the last one is gravel. We have a driveway where you can park next to the house. Additional parking also available within short distance. The cabin is in a resort, and we will provide 2 access cards to the amenities. Each pass will allow 4 guest in. We have 2 outdoor pools and a rec center with an indoor pool, workout space, tennis courts and putt putt. Other things to note We are kid friendly, but not necessarily 100% "kid safe". Our kids are grown so we don't have the special furniture (unless you consider our outdoor swing one). It is on the side of a mountain so the terrain can be steep. We have steps to make it easier and safer. It does have 300 ft of river access. On our side, the river is shallow and great for wading. In the middle, the river flows fast with deep parts so while it's fun to go in, younger kids need to be watched. The Gilmer County host license number is 002526.

The pictures on the website definitely do not do this beautiful home justice. The view of the river is spectacular. We were lucky enough to arrive while the mountain laurels were in bloom! The home is clean and has everything anyone would need in the kitchen, including extras of necessites like paper towels. The host has thought of every detail. Check in and check out is easy, and Dan was very accommodating. We would love to stay here again with our daughters!
This cabin was AWESOME! It was super nice and clean. It had everything we needed for a nice relaxing getaway. The porch off the living room is where i lived and breathed..there's even a nice cozy daybed out there was nice to hear the water and fall asleep. We even had a few floaters pass by on tubes. Will definitely be planning another trip soon. Thanks again for sharing your space Dan!
Great Location, beautiful back porch with Swing. Loved the Kitchen fully stocked and accessible. Daily visitors with the Deer and Geese were the absolute best. Can't wait to come back.
We have stayed in several mountain cabins and this one was the best yet. Very clean nicely furnished. The couch, chairs, and beds were in very good condition. Not worn and in need of replacement like other cabins we have visited. Many additional small details and the spectacular view were icing on the cake!
Had a wonderful "mommycation" at your cabin! Very clean and had everything I needed and the special touches made me feel so welcome. Loved listening to the river from the back deck too. Can't wait to go back and bring the family!

Lori, I’m so glad you (and furbaby) had a relaxing time at the cabin. You are welcome any time. It’s amazing the relaxing power of listening to the river. During the summer, we discovered that it’s ever better to hear, watch or be a tuber and kayak that shout with excitement as you enjoy being on the river. Please, bring your family and enjoy all that the Ellijay and mountains have to offer.
I came back for a second stay because we had such a great time during our first visit. The cabin was just as beautiful as the first time. We love the peaceful atmosphere and scenery. Dan is an awesome host!
Our stay was so good. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. The owner thinks of everything u may need. Just bring ur own food. The deer was beautiful and feeding them was great, there are out by the cabin every evening and morning. The firepit area was good the little hike to the river was a little tough exspecially comeing back up…
Very nice cabin for my visiting friends. Everything we needed was there. Great entertainment spaces, but the porch was our favorite hangout. The river was so peaceful to hear. I’ve stayed in this neighborhood before, but this has been my favorite so far. Love all the wildlife. Would stay here again for sure.
We had a great stay. It was welcoming and cozy. This place is the first time I’ve slept half decent away from home. We really enjoyed the property and do plan on staying again in the near future, if possible. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful property with us.
We’re had an amazing time! The River was beautiful! We sat in chairs while our dog played and swam! The deer visit the cabin property every day, as well as seeing numerous deer on resort grounds!
The property and cabin were immaculate. Short walk down to the river, deer everywhere in the community at all times of the day. Dan, the host was great. Very easy check in and out. Planning on another visit here again. Couldn’t have been nicer.
Cannot say enough good things about this place..Owners spared no expense.
Absolutely beautiful accommodations and decor..would love to come back in the summer..Soooo quiet and relaxing..our dog loved running up and down to the river..and attempting to cach up to the local deer..but never did..
Everything you may need is close by as well.
We LOVED this cabin! We seen many deer everyday and went tubing on the river. The cabin is stocked with everything you need. The beds are nice and cozy. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the back porch. Thank YOU!!

We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your time at the cabin. Thank YOU for staying with us.
Beautiful home and neighborhood. Exceptionally clean and comfortable beds. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything needed for cooking. Owner graciously let us in early since we arrived hours before check in time. Met a few neighbors while walking our dog and they were very friendly. The area is full of wildlife. We fed the deer some corn and they stayed around the house. There are windy roads up to the house but very simple to find. The walk to the river was steep but there are steps and a rope hand rail to help. We loved our stay here and will hopefully return next fall.
Our family of 5 came to stay for a weekend it did not disappoint! I can't wait to book agian forna longer tome to get to thoroughly enjoy what the atea has to offer. The home was clean and felt welcoming! Everything you need to have a great visit is right there. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Thank you so much for hosting us. We loved the cabin and property. The amenities were very clean and easily accessible. The giant porch swing on the porch overlooking the river was definitely our favorite part of our stay. The wildlife is actually friendly toward people, we made a few deer friends :) We definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice, quiet getaway that is a little off the beaten path.
Such a great cabin! Nice, quiet location, super clean, and well stocked with all the things you tend to forget while traveling. Daily/nightly visits from a whole herd of deer, had a great time feeding them with the food provided in the fridge. The water is a bit of a hike to get to, but still an amazing view!
My family had a fantastic stay. I have stayed a many VRBOs and this is definitely one of my favorites. They have everything you need. The beds were comfy and the decks overlooking the river was the best part. Spent most my time out there listening to the river. The hike to the river is definitely an adventure but worth it. There are deer all over the place. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax. It is beautiful!
