This property was exactly what my family needed for our wedding week long get together. The property was clean and has lots of amenities that made our stay very comfortable. My family enjoyed our stay and they all kept saying that this was an awesome find that made our time even more special. While expensive, it was worth every penny as my family will remember the venue for the rest of our lives.

The property is located in sort of a strange location, behind an old motel that is out of business. Having said that, it was surrounded by trees and nice and private. Great indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.

We were a group of seven, who were staying for a conference. The house was beautiful and so clean. It had plenty of space for all of us to have our own rooms/beds, and there were plenty of towels and linens. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. It was nestled in the woods, just off the main road, and it was so quiet and peaceful. The owner was very helpful and answered any of my text messages right away. We would definitely come back and stay there again!

We enjoyed a great stay at the Evans Lodge for our family reunion. The host, Debbie, was very communicative and helpful through the whole process, from the time we booked until the time we checked out. The house allows for privacy and makes you feel there are no neighbors around but it is actually located just 5 minutes away from downtown Skaneateles. The house was beautiful and very clean with lots of amenities and all the necessities stocked. The appliances all look modern and fairly new. The kids loved the mounted animals on the walls as well as the fire pit where we had s'mores night. The driveway was a bit awkward for four cars, but as long as not everyone is arriving or leaving at the same time, there is no issue.Overall, it's a wonderful base to explore the Finger Lakes region.

Skaneateles Getaway

Amazing place for family gathering!!

We had a great time at this location everyone had their own space beautifully decorated house in the woods!!Great kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook and socialize with your family. Close to the town and hiking trails. We would surely stay at this location again. Also the hosts are great very communicative and kind.

Fully equipped kitchen, enough sitting for our group of 13. There were only 6 Adirondack chairs by the fire pit with tables, but we brought more chairs. We have a fire every night, wood provided. Pet-friendly, fenced in yard. The 2 kitchens came in handy for all our food/beverage storage.

Family Corvette Roadtrip

This was perfect location and a beautiful house!! Very comfortable and easy! The host was quick to respond and helpful about the area. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again. 5 couples and 5 cars, plenty of room for all comfortably! The house was very well maintained, no expense spared on design or accommodations!

Our trip to Skaneateles was for our son's wedding at a gorgeous wedding venue there. The lodge was perfect for us and extended family. Plenty of inside and outside space at the home. Very private and quiet location. Town of Skaneateles was absolutely lovely, quaint, quiet, great shops and sight seeing. Lake was absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful memories were made and we can't wait to come back:)

Perfect home for wedding group

This house is everything it says it is and more! Beautiful, spacious, and a great back yard for grilling, having a fire pit, and spending time together. Debbie was a great host, as our family and friends in our bridal party spent the weekend with us in this house. Skaneateles lake is just a few short minutes away. Would highly recommend this vacation home!

Comfort and convenience plus more!

Our family of 10 has been renting homes in Skaneateles for four years. Evan’s Lodge was the favorite. Well designed and well appointed modern home with a comfortable feel inside and out. And only a 5 minute drive to the lake for swimming at the public swimming dock entrance and nearby restaurants and shopping.
