The "lilac house" is a wonderful place to stay as you explore Brevard and Asheville. It is sparkling clean and has everything you need at your fingertips. It is located very near the main part of Brevard so you can leave the car at home. The bedrooms are very comfortable and there is lots of room to relax whether indoors or outdoors. The host is very responsive and from check-in to check-out the process has been easy and efficient. If you have dogs, the backyard is fenced in with lots of room to explore. The host is very dog-friendly which is a great plus.

This is a very nice place to stay. Large fenced yard , quiet neighborhood, whole house absolutely spotless, only a 15 minute walk from the center of Brevard. Small park only a block away with walking paths. Perfect for a leashed pet. Nice back porch for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Very well equipped kitchen and helpful host. would definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful home ! The backyard with fence and beautiful flower gardens and bird houses is a natural delight ! Our pups loved to sniff and spend time in that backyard . The home itself is in a great location and the inside had a well stocked kitchen , roomy garage and the rooms were great ! The owners were so kind and helpful in making our stay wonderful! We will definitely be back! Terrific place to stay! Highly recommend.

Great place for family!

We had a great stay at the “purple house” as my daughter liked to call it. The yard was perfect for the dogs and the inside was cozy. We would definitely come back!

Great house and location

Communication with the owner was excellent. House was extremely clean and well stocked. Location was great for walking downtown as well. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Brevard again.

Wonderfully renovated home within walking distance of town center, restaurants and shops. Great home base for cycling, hiking and exploring or simply sitting and enjoying the flowers, butterflies and birds.

Just a really clean and comfy house. The hosts have set it up so nicely. Great location and walkable to downtown. Our dogs enjoyed the backyard watching the birds and squirrels and we enjoyed the rocking chairs!

Cozy home in Brevard

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Geraldine's place. The house was very clean and comfortable. My favorite part may have been the morning coffee and evening glass of wine on the back patio. We will definitely stay here again if back in Brevard!

The cleanest best appointed place

The home was very clean and wonderfully stocked! Everything was there for us and our pets! Very pet friendly! Also had a beautiful yard!

Delightful - so pretty and cozy and perfect.

This really was a great score - the house was within walking distance of town, had plenty of room for our little group of friends. Very pretty and our host was very gracious. We really loved it and recommend without hesitation.

Cousin getaway weekend

My cousins and I were in town for a family reunion, we rented this house because it was pet friendly for the two pups that would be joining, and the property was perfect for us. Clean and cozy with plenty of space for all of us!

Great home and location! Walk to downtown for shopping and eating. Loved the backyard and the hummingbirds. Kept looking for that elusive white squirrel.

Much needed relaxation

We visited Brevard for the first time with our furbabies a couple weeks ago. The house was perfect for us and the boys loved the fenced in backyard! The fall leaves were beautiful, the town was welcoming and our host was wonderful - even letting us know about local events we could enjoy!

The property was super clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. Convenient to downtown, charming back porch with lots of visits from the hummingbirds, and extra care was given to ensure our dog had a good experience. We’ll return for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect—a cozy and peaceful spot to return to after a day of hiking in Pisgah or walking around downtown. We especially loved spending time in the backyard, surrounded by nature. We saw plenty of birds and even spotted a white squirrel! Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a place within walking distance to downtown with easy access to both Pisgah and DuPont.

Perfect Location!

This was my second time staying at this amazing Brevard property! The location is awesome…short walk to town, great neighborhood, 10 minutes to Pisgah highway and all that Pisgah has to offer. Blue Ridge Parkway and countless trails and waterfalls to enjoy with the family and pups!! The fenced in back yard is just what we needed for our 2 dogs when we weren’t on the trails or in town. Communication with our host was excellent. Would recommend this property to anyone! Super clean and comfy, great location and super dog friendly. Thank you for another perfect Brevard vacation.

Well appointed property

What a beautiful home and yard! The house is so clean, comfortable and really well stocked. Our dogs had such fun in the fenced back yard and we enjoyed all the blooms; peonies, clematis, wysteria, roses, the list goes on. Geraldine was promptly responsive to questions and we had no problems or concerns. We hope to return to the house. We always enjoy being in Brevard.
