This was our fourth stay at the historic Downingtown Manor. Each and every time has been fabulous. The house is well kept, very clean; stocked with plenty of amenities, great location and very responsive hosts. And this year the house was decorated very beautifully for Christmas.

Kitchen was fully equipped and loved the Ice machine, since I am a big user of ice! Great dishes, silverware, etc. The only complaint my daughter and I had were the two fry pans! they were sooo hard to clean!
The house is charming! Wonderful indoor and outdoor seating spaces, especially the lovely glassed-in porch overlooking the river. Very spacious and in a great location. Mark and Michele were always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. A great find in Downingtown with lovey hosts!! We very much enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to stay there again in the future.

Second stay! Such a lovely place with a beautiful sun room to enjoy morning coffee. Close to parks, restaurants and a great Farmers Market on Saturday morning during the summer.
Mark and Michele were so easy to communicate with and made their home very welcoming.

Downingtown Manor is perfectly located for a trip to the Brandywine/Longwood area of PA. The house is in charming Downingtown, with many terrific restaurants and pubs. Also surrounded by natural beauty, hikes, charming towns and country drives. The manor provides a relaxing and comfortable respite with a fabulous sunroom, including views over Brandywine Creek replete with bald eagles and gorgeous trees. The historic features of the house add to its charm and character. Comfortable furniture, beds and a well-stocked kitchen are added bonuses. Highly recommend!!
We rented the Downingtown Manor for a small get together with some old friends. The house is beautiful with many aspects that encourage relaxation and comfort. I would absolutely rent this again if the situation arises.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse. The property was just as described with plenty of space for our two families to relax and hang out between family events over the course of the holiday weekend. And the owners even decorated for Christmas which made it even cozier.
The sun room is a lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee while looking out over the Brandywine Creek before heading out for a walk on one of the trails close by or to the downtown area for a meal.
The owners were great at communicating all throughout the process. Should we need a place to stay next time we are in the area we hope to return!
