About this property

White Horse Guest Home w/Pool / hot tub

We are within 10 minutes of the village of Intercourse, about 15 minutes from Shady Maple Smorgasbord and 60 Min away from Hershey and Philadelphia. We have a beautiful 15x26 above ground pool which is open from (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.) The 7 person hot tub was purchased in June of 2017. There is a beautiful fenced in backyard which borders Amish farmland in the rear of the property. The house sits on a main route with many buggies traveling by daily. Complimentary laundry room with detergent is provided on the first floor. At least one or more guests must be 21 years of age to rent this home. The property layout is great for family gatherings and smaller reunions.
The kitchen has an island, kitchen table.Leading off from the kitchen is a full bathroom and a bedroom with a king bed. On the same side of the house is the sunroom (w sleeper sofa) that leads to the hot tub from one door and the pool through another. From the other side of the kitchen is the foyer, laundry room, BR, sitting area, 1st floor bedroom with a queen bed. A large living area is at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the other 2 bedrooms (1 Q bed & 2 DB beds) & bathroom. 1st floor full bath just remodeled Feb 2023. Pics not updated of remodeled bath

We were pleasantly surprised to find a place to stay with our family that was VERY clean, well equipped, roomy, and better than staying in more expensive hotels without our own kitchen. The owner was attentive,easy to communicate with and accomodating to our grandkids visiting with animals on his farm. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to Sight & Sound. Highly recommended!

It was so pleasant and comfy. We loved it. The decor was soft and calming with lots of scripture to remind you how gracious our God is and how blessed we are. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook with. It was too cool for the pool but the hot tub was a big hit. The stay here made for a wonderful weekend. Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub even though it was in the 50s during the late evening. The jacuzzi tub was great for the kids to enjoy a bath and the walk in shower was great for disabilities. The house had a lot of room and we enjoyed the different spaces. There was plenty of seating, towels, linens and even a high chair and pack and play. The little ones loved walking up to see the animals. We brought our own wood and enjoyed a campfire and s'mores. The place was excellent. The only negative was that the beds were a little hard.

We had a great time in this spacious house for our family with grandparents, adult kids, and grandchildren ages 2-14. Everything was exactly as described with comfortable beds, clean areas, and plenty of room for us to spread out. Communication was easy and we appreciated our hosts!!
