Clair de Lune, Lake Front on Lake Palestine

Ideal year-round vacation waterfront retreat with room for family and friends to enjoy. Well trained dogs with responsible owners are welcome (for pet fee). Enjoy water sports (bring fishing gear, bring or rent boat or kayak) enjoy informal horseshoes with a view, corn hole, games, puzzles, curl up with a good book, roast marshmallows/make S’mores around the fire pit, relax and bird watch on the balcony and sun room porch.

The home features two living areas with large screen streaming TVs and two detached bathrooms (each level includes one living area and one full bath). Both living areas and the three bedrooms all have streaming (Roku) TVs and ceiling fans. The space has a total of 6 beds: 3 queen, 1 sofa bed in living room, 2 twins (trundle) in office.

Upstairs includes: Balcony with rockers overlooking the property, kitchen, coffee bar, dining table (seats 6), living, bathroom with shower/tub, office space with trundle bed (rolls out to 2 twins), and queen Murphy bedroom.

Downstairs includes sun room, two queen bedrooms, bathroom with shower/tub, living area with queen sofa bed and game/dining table (seats 4), laundry room with coffee bar, washer & dryer.

Home is located on peaceful street, with a carport and extra parking on driveway. You will have access to our private subdivision boat ramp, located on our street.

Bathrooms have basic toiletries. For convenience, charming downtown Chandler is a 12 minute drive, with groceries, ACE Hardware, dining and shopping. For extreme convenience, Pizza Pro delivers, and the Family Dollar (that includes grocery basics), gas station, and donut shop are only 4 minutes away.

We had a wonderful stay and made so many memories! We traveled with two families and 4 total kids and the bi-level was perfect for two families, it was spacious for the kids to play in both the outside and yard. It was too chilly to utilize the lake but the kids loved the fire pit and s’mores making (the s’mores kit was greatly appreciated).The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The hosts were very thoughtful and communicated with us throughout our stay. We highly recommend and will be back next time we visit our Tyler family! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Peaceful getaway spot

Very comfortable home with everything you need for a relaxing time at the lake. Dorinda and Mark were very helpful and accommodating and even provided a bottle of wine to welcome us. Cute decor, great coffee, and a huge backyard to enjoy watching and listening to the birds.

Lake house stay

We had everything we needed and more in our stay here! We enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking, & making s’mores by the fire pit. The owners were very quick to answer any questions we had and made us feel at home! Perfect place to get away from big city life. We loved our stay!!

Nice getaway house!

This home was simply wonderful. It had everything you could ask for to make the stay perfect. My family and I stayed for a long weekend at the lake. Plenty of room and on the water with a dock to tie up the boat! Great property and great hosts! I will definitely book again.

We had such a great time at Lake Palestine. Dorinda made sure we had everthing (and more) that we would ever need at the house. The welcome basket with fixings for smores and the wine was such a sweet gesture. The house was clean and the beds so comfortable. Such a relaxing place!

Relaxing Lakehouse

Our group traveled in for an event in the area. The location was great as it was xlose to town and to.the event center. Host was friwndly and responsive. 2 teenage girls with is loved the games to keep them occupied while we were busy preparing for yhe event. Would love to go back for a leisure trip to enjoy the lake, firepit and other ammenities we did not have time to enjoy. Highly recommend.

Lovely Home

Lovely southern home with a sprinkle of Louisiana decor. Very well organized and put togather. It was very easy to communicate with the Dorinda. Her instructions were very clear and simple to understand. We loved the differnt sleeping options, the coffee carts, beautiful yard and stocked kitchen and bath. Made us feel right at home!

Relaxing Getaway

Joined my sisters in a weekend get away to rest, relax and reconnect. This home is spacious, lots of throws. Upstair and downstair areas, sleeping and sitting. Outdoor upstair patio was great for my morning stretch/workout. Large yard down to lake with pier. Quiet neighbors. Close to Chandler and not far to Tyler. GPS brought us straight to driveway. Wonderful Cajun/New Orleans decor.

Exactly What We Needed

I can’t emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and had plenty of extra dishes so there was no need to constantly wash to reuse. We found the balcony to be perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the sun come up. The water channel was easily deep and wide enough for us to maneuver our boat in and out of the dock without any real effort. This was our first trip to Lake Palestine and Clair de Lune helped us fall in love with the area.

Wonderful Fall visit

We had a fun fall visit to the Tyler area. Hosts were so helpful sharing information about the area and clued us in regarding the Edom Art Festival that we are so happy to attend and learn more about the area. House is very well appointed making our stay very comfortable and easy. Every bed and sitting area has USB charging stations, along with lots of throws, games, books, coffee stations (plural), popcorn, s’mores basket, etc. to make family time activities readily available. Kitchen, laundry room, and bathrooms had all the basics provided so no extra expenses buying supplies. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Fantastic long weekend getaway with the family.

This was a first class experience all the way. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Communication and accommodations were impeccable. The local zoo was a favorite for our kids. If you haven’t fished Lake Palestine you need to do so. Palestine is absolutely one of my favorite lakes for largemouth bass. I’m told the crappie fishing is pretty great also. We brought our boat. The neighborhood ramp is convenient and of good quality. The boat dock in the canal out behind the house was great for parking the boat at lunchtime. It’s also worth mentioning that the neighbors on all sides are super friendly. I highly recommend booking a stay at the Clair de Lune on Lake Palestine.

Lovely property and Hosts!

We had a brief stay at Clair de Lune but it was so nice! Everything you could ever want or need was at this property. From the welcome basket that included all the fixings for S’mores and a bottle of wine to comfy beds and plenty of space. It was just the two of us, but this rental would be perfect for families and fun. Easy check in, hosts that let you know they are available to you, all made our stay so enjoyable. The house is conveniently located near Tyler and in a cove of Lake Palestine. There is a fire pit to sit around and watch sunsets on the lake, a grille to barbecue and TV’s in all bedrooms and living rooms. TVs allow streaming of Netflix, YouTube tv etc. The provided guestbook also assisted in helping know all the amenities provided. Forget something? Don’t worry- it’s there. Toiletries, hair dryer, games to play, books to read, throws to keep you warm, they haven’t overlooked anything. If you appreciate the thoughtfulness a host makes to have a guest feel special, then choose this property. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!

Great experience!

Four tournament bass anglers shared the house as our base for a 4 day tournament. It was perfect for us with the exception of having multiple trucks w/boat trailers & there is limited parking at the house for that many vehicles. It can accommodate 2 trucks + boat trailers in the driveway. We parked the others at the community boat ramp which is gated & locked. No problems! The house was clean, up to date, & the beds were good. The charcoal grill & fire pit are nice to have! Internet service was good. Dorinda was really excellent to work with & responded very quickly to all communications. I highly recommend!

Wonderful place!

We enjoyed our stay & loved the place! The house, amenities, and location, made our stay so relaxing. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, there’s plenty of bedding, It is really nice and clean, the yard and lake area are well landscaped, and there’s lots of room for everyone to spread out - it’s a winner all around.

Bring your boat, kayak, jet ski, fishing gear...as you can do it all from this perfect location. The subdivision boat ramp is located at the end of the street, and if you're not a boater, you can fish from our dock or enjoy bird watching, reading, playing board/card games and puzzles.
