Originally built as a schoolhouse in the 1800s, this incredible stone cottage has been fully updated while retaining its historic charm and character. Away from the crowds but centrally located, the cottage is your perfect base for exploring beautiful Lake George and the Adirondacks during all four seasons. Minutes from swimming, boating, hiking and kayaking in the summer; and skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in the winter.

Less than one mile from Hadlock Pond; 10 minutes from the shores of Lake George; 10 minutes from amazing hiking trails; 10 minutes to outlet shopping; 10 minutes to Glen Lake; 10 minutes to Six Flags Great Escape; 10 minutes to snowmobile trails; 15 minutes from Lake George Village; 15 minutes from downtown Glens Falls; 20 minutes to West Mountain; 50 minutes to Gore Mountain.

--Notes for a Great Stay--
This is a space best enjoyed by responsible adults and well-behaved children. As the home is not baby proofed, we do not allow children under two years of age or infants.
Pets are not allowed due to owner allergy.
Wood stove and pellet stove are not available for guest use.
We are in the Adirondacks: you may see some insects or critters on the property.
You may hear occasional road noise while enjoying the patio and yard.
For security purposes, we have two cameras monitoring the outside of the property. The cameras are located at the front door and on the side of the house overlooking the driveway. There are no cameras inside the house. We value your privacy.

--Booking--
Once your booking on the platform is complete, we will ask for your email to send a customized rental agreement. This agreement must be completed and returned prior to check-in.

Check-in is at 3 p.m. You will receive the entry code one hour prior to check-in. Check-out is at noon.
Early check in / check out may be available for an additional fee, please inquire.

Nice convenient house
The house was clean, decorated nicely and convenient to lake George and surrounding area. The host was very attentive.
