Oceanside View House

This home is all view! Looking out, you have unobstructed 180 degree views of the ocean, the surf, the beach, Cape Lookout, Netarts Bay, the Three Arch Rocks, sea lions, and birds of every description including eagles and pelicans. It sits at the end of a small gravel road high above the tiny village of Oceanside so there is no traffic at all. Not barbecuing allow.

This is a very comfortable home. It is quiet and private and an easy space to be in. The views are spectacular! We were able to see whales from the deck. We loved our time there.

Too much carpet in livingroom. Need decent chairs to enjoy deck area. Sand buildup on upper deck prevents sliding screen from operating properly . Probably best view at Oceanside . A nice suburban style house at the beach .

quiet and relaxing

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood with a million dollar view from the deck. Plenty of room to spread out and relax.Garbage disposal broken. Could use some better silverware.

The view was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very nice to work in. The main floor had a 3 heating vents set by a thermostat. Of the 3 only 1, in the kitchen worked. It blew very lightly. The other two vents didn't work. The upstairs where the TV and bedrooms were, there were 2 dialed heating vents and both worked well. There were blinds on every window and door except the window in the upstairs bathroom. This gave a great view for people in the next house to the north. Its a good thing, no one was staying next door. This should get looked at.

Can’t say more about the location. So amazing. We saw sea lions on the rocks with the spotting scope. Top notch kitchen and all interior appointments. Upscale everything. After reading other reviews i knew to reach out for the door code before we left Tillamook so we had no issues with that. Would definitely recommend

Our Home away from Home

Being on top of the world / mountain and at the beach at the same time. This home is habit-forming. Peaceful. Tara is an excellent, very responsive hostess. Her home is perfectly, decorated - beach theme. It had all the accessories we needed: pots and pans, dish soap... We love the vaulted ceiling and the sky lights. The beach air is so fresh! This was the perfect location for our 25th wedding anniversary. Great views and loved the deck. Having lunch on dining room table and viewing whales surfacing in the near distance was great. I couldn’t have asked for a better location.
