Lovely property. Gorgeous views. Appliances, decor, furniture all very nice. Very clean. Shalaka was quick to respond when we had a few questions. Our group really enjoyed all the special touches the owners incorporated in the house and landscaping. Highly recommend this property for a great getaway.
Wonderful property! We love the multiple floors with separate spaces, and most of all, love the back deck with gorgeous view! This is our second time staying here, and will return again.

Such a cute and comfortable home! The owners clearly take pride in hosting as the property was well appointed and meticulously upkept. The location is great - just a few minutes away from the restaurants/shops in Lincoln as well as many great hiking spots. It was a wonderful place for our family to relax. The owners were very responsive, as this was a last minute booking, and attentive, as they reached out a number of times to make sure we had everything we needed. We definitely would recommend this property!

Property was amazingly well kept with very spacious living for a family of 8. Property owner is very on top of things with quick responses to questions. Garbage removal was very convenient with our long stay of 2 weeks. We would definitely return again.

This house was perfect for our stay! The views from inside and on the deck were amazing! We had to dodge some weather but that didn’t slow us down at all…so much around and the location was tough to beat. We did the Loon zip line, Saco River tubing, Cannon Tram, mini golf in town, 18 holes at The Jack course, the Flume Gorge, Whales Tale water park, and joined the Mountain Club for the pools and all the extras for teens which they loved, We grilled every night on the spectacular deck and even watching the weather move through the valley and mountains was a sight to see! We hope to be back!

Beautiful and clean house! Plenty of room for the 7 of us, huge living room area to relax at night after a long day out and about. Love the large deck overlooking the mountains. AC to keep the house cool. Having been to Lincoln many times, it's not always necessary to have a house with AC, but it's nice to know you have it if you need it. In the past, we have stayed in houses that got surprisingly hot. The host was excellent, great communication, responded quickly to a few questions I had during our stay. Would highly recommend!

So the view from the back deck….. 10/10. Beautiful mountain back drop. Gorgeous stars at night. My family stayed at this cabin with another family. Plenty of space and beds with 3 floors of living space. It was a hot and sunny weekend. The split AC worked well, the bottom floor has no AC but was cool enough it really didn’t need an AC to be comfortable. Everything was very clean and as described. Easy communication with the hosts. Close to so many activities and outdoor adventures. Everyone had a great time, we wish we could have stayed longer.

You and your family were wonderful guests and we will love to have you back again.
My family & I loved this home--the view is unsurpassed in all our years of renting get-a-ways. We enjoyed our walks to the Highland Games throughout the weekend--it is that close.
Like/Love:
~ excellent communication with owners. Felt very much supported throughout our stay.
~ view - unsurpassed
~ spacious, clean and well stocked
~ 2 rented homes in a row that the light switches were market--yeah!!! So incredibly helpful.
~ a supply of teas where a delight!!
~ awesome spot for yoga on the deck--incredibly peaceful.
Wishes:
~ the spiral staircase was fun...but not for people with mobility issues; fortunately, we also had a lower lever bedroom.
~ kitchen good for 1 cook only--but maybe that's a good thing!
~ wish we could have stayed longer--the foliage was just starting to turn.
Looking forward to return as soon as possible. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Thanks for the detailed review Diane! Happy to know you enjoyed the views, the tranquility, the proximity to Loon and the overall space. It was a pleasure to host you and your family and we do hope you come back and visit us again.
We had a fantastic week at this home! It is very evident that Shalaka and Akash care about their guests and go the extra mile with a personalized welcome note, a few goodies, extra toiletries and emailed check-ins throughout the week to see if we needed anything. The home is very well kept and comfortable. We prepared most of our meals at the house and found everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill on the deck was clean and in good working order. Speaking of the deck....this is where you will spend so much time because the view is phenomenal. The house is located in the perfect location, close to stores, restaurants, coffee and hikes, ice cream, and mini-golf yet tucked far enough away from it all to get the peace and quiet that makes a vacation great. We left New Hampshire will sore muscles from great hiking, but full hearts from such a great week. We are grateful to Akash and Shalaka for sharing their house with us. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat...it was great!

Hosted by Shalaka Munjal
My husband Akash and I work and live in MA, along with our 2 very active kids. The mountains are my happy place! We vacationed in NH every year for the past several years. We enjoyed hiking, snow tubing, snowmobiling etc. When our older one took to snowboarding, we decided to get our own place in the White Mountains. Our younger one took to skiing and we were forced to learn it as well. We absolutely love our home that we lovingly call "The Rustic Elk Abode". We enjoyed furnishing it and making it our own. Given work, kids school and activities we cannot be there all the time and hence decided to share it with others. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
This home is exactly what we dreamed of, for our mountain getaway. The lovely mountain views captivated us. Set in a beautiful neighborhood, this house has a rustic feel with wood panel ceilings and simple cozy bedrooms. The layout is wonderful, the deck is amazing and the lower level is a cherry on top with a well appointed SKI room. The location is unbeatable. Stone's throw away from the Loon Mountain Resort and the Pemigewasset river, with several lakes and hiking trails in close proximity. Every year in the past, we vacationed in North Conway. However that drive is much longer. We also visited Lincoln often and absolutely loved it. Hence when it came time to look for our own place in the White Mountains, Lincoln was the top choice and we are very grateful to have found this house.
What makes this property unique
The bucolic ambience and enthralling mountain views. Lovely neighborhood. Proximity to the Loon Mountain Resort, Pemigewasset River, lakes, hiking trails and Lincoln downtown with great activities, shopping and dinning options. Three floors of living space allows privacy and ample room for everyone to spread out.
