About this property
The Luxury Loft in Anchorage
Summary:
Enjoy the fully furnished community deck with a firepit, hammock, lounge chairs and dining table. Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom with mood lighting and jetted tub. 16 inch memory foam bed. Walkable to local restaurants and coffee kiosks. Alaska Railroad Train comes right through the neighborhood! Perfect safe neighborhood for walkers and families with a park 2 blocks away with a full jungle gym and sunset view of the inlet! Plenty of parking. Dog friendly! 15 minutes from the airport!
The Space:
This 3rd story loft apartment is great for 2 to 3 people. 1 private bedroom and a sofa pull out. We have extra amentities like bathroom speakers, extra long jetted bathtub and A/C!
The loft is very cozy inside, but the outside is the place to be! A huge open deck to enjoy the sun, BBQ or have a cozy evening at the fire pit. Our lower deck has a 6 person hot tub that is VERY maintained and cleaned regularly. The outdoor areas of the decks, yard and parking ARE SHARED with other guests staying at the house. The areas are uniquely spaced so you very rarely cross paths with others, but it is fun to meet others from all over and share your Alaska stories and maybe even get some tips!
***This is also dog friendly home with a max of 1. Sorry no cats due to allergies. Additonal fees may apply. And you may see others with pets in the yard or deck as well! Please message me for details on brining a pet***
YOU WILL CLIMB OUTDOOR EXTERIOR STAIRS TO ENTER THE UNIT. Please be aware of the conditions if you have any concerns.
***OFF SEASON (WINTER) PRICES and SHOULDER SEASON (MAY and OCT)***
These seasons are REDUCED price in the winter months in MAY and OCTOBER due to deck area and firepit is not accessible with snow coverage. It depends year by year how much snow we have and if it melts in time. And it may just be too cold! The hot tub is still accessible with a short walk down the steps to the lower deck. The hot tub is shared with another unit on the middle floor but not expected to be used simultneously***
Always feel free to ask us any questions!
Guest Access:
For this loft the guests will have access to their private unit on the 3rd floor, parking, outdoor side yard (poop free and not fully fenced in) back yard that is fully fenced in (mostly used for dogs) large upper deck with amenities, lower deck with hot tub.
*Hot tub is shared with guests in the middle floor unit*

Getting Around:
The best way to see the beauty of Alaska is to have a vehicle. We are a HUGE state and to really see its beauty, you want a car.
Most of the tourist attractions and pick up locations for tours are located downtown, about 15 minutes away via highway.
Highway access is less than a minute away!
A full grocery store is in the area, about 1-2 minutes if that down the road. Wallgreens, ice cream shop, fast food, Wellsfargo and a few local resturants are also in the same area.
Our neighborhood is VERY safe for walking! Take the kids or dogs to Oceanview park, its just 2 neighborhood blocks away. The park has a jungle jim, short walking trails and can get to the train tracks for some unique photos!
Walk to a coffee kiosk stand and South Side Bistro local diner! A 5 minute walk just outside the neighborhood. A popular spot for breakfast!
Other Things to Note:
The outdoor spaces are shared
Dog friendly, must pick up after pets and only used fenced in back yard area. Fees may incur.
Hot tub is shared with 1 other unit. Please be respectable to others and make some friends!
You may have someone staying below you. Potential noise from other guests is possible.
Interaction with Guests:
We won't have the pleasure of meeting you but I am always available via airbnb messages, text or call!
Please take a look at our binder provided in the unit for instruction and guidance! And I have left many notes around the place that are very helpful for tips in each room and their features.

We stayed here to be closer to head south to Seward. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. This is a great place and easy to get to!
Property is very clean, lots of towels provided. Deck area is very nice, hot tub easy to use and very clean. Excellent location. Host is very easy to contact and responsive. Would stay again!
Staying at the Loft in Anchorage was an excellent experience! The space was clean, comfortable, and ideally located with quick access to the highway—making it a great base for exploring the area. From there, I was able to easily visit Anchorage, Seward, and Palmer. Carolyn was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was amazing, deck with fire pit was so enjoyable and the hot tub was an amazing addition. The bedroom is like a little oasis from home, and the swing is a nice touch, good for a morning coffee and book! We would love to stay here again!

Of my two daughters one said it was simply amazing. The other one said. I would recommend it. As the parent who is a very nice place.
Carolyn was the best host: responsive and accommodating. A pleasure to stay here, minutes from our son’s home. Felt like a stay-cay. A warm and inviting home.

Thank you for staying with us! Welcome back anytime!
The Luxury Loft is one of our favorite places to stay in Anchorage!
The space is spotless, the bed is super cozy, and the jetted tub is the perfect way to pamper yourself after a long day. We loved relaxing with a drink on the rooftop deck while grilling steaks, and the hot tub was a dream after a day of shopping. There’s plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture—perfect for sunbathing or enjoying your morning coffee by the fire pit. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully designed to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Wow thank you so much Mary for the detailed review! Sounds like you really spent some time at the place and I am so glad you loved it! We have put a lot of small details into the unit, thanks for noticing!
Carolyn was very responsive which made me feel at ease with checking in, how everything worked in the rental, and with checking out. We were there only a short while, but we had all the necessities to make the short trip comfortable. Thank you Carolyn for your hospitality.
3 people stayed at this property - we used both the bed in the bedroom as well as the couch that converts to bed. Everyone enjoyed the stay.
Host (Carolyn) was very responsive and helpful both in planning our stay and throughout our stay. She had several recommendations for both Anchorage and some surrounding towns. Everything at the property is specially labeled with instructions. Host also has a book in the property with extra instructions and area recommendations.
Property was very nice. In southern area of town in private neigbothood with park nearby. Not walkable to downtown or airport but easily accessible by car. Outside patio was nice (hammock, hot tub) but unfortunately we didn't get to use it much in our stay. The kitchen seems well equiped (again didn't use much). The bathroom was beautiful and spa-like. Overall, great for an Anchorage get-away.
Would use both the host and this property again.
