Perfect location!
This was a cozy location with a perfect location - one block walk from the beach and so easy to get to downtown SB. Quiet street (occasional train whistle that wasn't a problem at all), and room was all that we needed.
Small, but everything you need. Terrific mattress, lovely secluded patio, great staff follow-up when mentioned minor problem. Perfect location and lovely decor.

East beach is a great location. Room small and adequate. Not much more than a hotel room. Clean and met most of our needs.
Local team very responsive.

We didn’t get to use the property. Family came down with Covid. Family in the area stayed one night. Report I received.

Fantastically close to the beach and harbor. Room was clean with plenty of towels and nice bathing amenities. This might be specific to us but given the small quarters there could be a much more efficient use of the space geared toward guests. The queen bed dominates the room. Two futon day beds or a modern bunk bed along the wall would be better, imo. Neither the curved loveseat or built in bench seat served as an extra bed. The loveseat seemed out of place and bulky for its utility and would be more useful to have either built in open shelving and/or a chair. Dispense with the night stands and install wall mounted reading lights. The one small table housing a small basket for coffee and tea could be replaced w/ a small sink, countertop to make a sandwich, cut up fruit or make coffee since it’s close to the fridge Unfortunately there were no filters for the coffee and the coffee maker did not reach the plug sitting on the table-it would
either have to sit on the sink or the floor. There is a microwave but again no real space to prepare anything. The nook where the fridge and microwave sit is underutilized and would benefit from some simple custom wall to wall shelving-and could also be more counter space adjacent to the built in bench which could be a nice breakfast/coffee nook. Other useful items needed: 2 folding luggage racks, towel hooks in bathroom. Suction cup Soap rack in shower needs a more permanent home. Shower was spacious w/ hot water aplenty.

Cute Quaint Accomodation
We were in town for a wedding so didn't need much in terms of accommodations. This was great for what we needed it for. Easy check-in/check-out process and great location (2ish blocks from the beach and zoo). The neighborhood was relatively quiet, and the train/highway wasn't as loud as we expected. The back shared deck was a nice spot to relax in between our jam-packed weekend. The bathroom was massive and much nicer than we anticipated. Would recommend this spot to those looking for a comfortable, no-frills room to crash while in SB.
