New world class memory foam mattresses in both the stylish new bedroom and the pull out full size sofa bed in the living room. The bedroom has a European down comforter, as well as a down topper and high thread count linens. Two new large flat screen TVs, a Bose Bluetooth speaker for music, fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet. This "smartly furnished" 650 square foot walk-out lower level aptis located in an area of beautiful homes. Light pours in the windows, with views to the majestic mountains including Mount Alice . Located on a dramatic cliff above the lagoon you will enjoy a birds eye view of the town of Seward and Boat Harbor filled with the activity of colorful sailboats and commercial work boats. It is within walking distance of downtown and the boat harbor. Seward's fine restaurants and unique shops are waiting for you to explore. 1st and 2nd lake hiking trails are right outside the door. Don't look any further.....You must stay here!!!

This was the best lodging during our week long trip in Alaska. We enjoyed the location, sparkling clean apartment, the views and the friendliness of the owners. We hope to return and stay there again!!!!

Beautiful apartment

We loved our stay in Seward. Susan's apartment was top notch! It was in a great location with a view.The patio set was a nice place to sit and relax with a glass of wine after a full day of exploring the area.

Great Place to stay in Seward Alaska

Great location, you can walk to town, a nice hiking trail just out the back door. Very clean and modern appearances. Excellently decorated and like new. Would book again.

Excellent apartment especially for two people. Very nicely furnished and well chosen amenities. Perfect place to recharge after a day of enjoying Alaska outdoors or fishing. Some good food places in town, too.

Perfect Get Away

This apartment was the cleanest rental we have ever been in. It was newly renovated, had an efficient layout and was perfectly stocked. It is close to town, yet private and quiet. Beautiful Seward Stay

Beautiful views from this 1 bedroom modern apartment. Luxury plus with modern updated appliances and furnishings. Unfortunately our weather was not so good so it dimished the beautiful view but once the sun peeked out for the very limited time the views were great.

Seward Apartment

We loved our stay in Susan's Seward home. It was so clean and well maintained. We used the kitchen to cook and had everything we needed. I slept on the sofa bed and it was very comfortable - felt just like a regular bed. We also loved the hiking trail right out the front door. Check in was a breeze and communication with Susan was great. Highly recommend!

Can we give more than five stars???

Our stay at Dean and Susan's beautiful Seward apartment could not have been more enjoyable. The location is perfect, quiet but very convenient to everything Seward has to offer. The decor is magazine-worthy and every amenity is available. The apartment is very well laid out, perfectly suited for a couple. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the breathtaking views at the rear. In summary, we'd love to come back some day and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay in Seward.

To those who might temper expectations around what an Alaska small town VRBO might look like, you would be misguided to do so with the VRBO at 1125 Cliff View Place in Seward. The place is gorgeous. It was clean and modern, offering a great view of the nearby lagoon, Seward boat harbor, and mountains of Resurrection Bay. If you are in town and in need of a place to stay, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Beautiful newly decorated home

This was a wonderful place to stay in Seward with a view of the bay. The home felt brand new and was a perfect, beautiful, restful place to stay. Susan made us feel welcome and was extremely accommodating.

The property is immaculate and the location high up on a cliff has a spectacular view. The condo appears to be brand new the appliances are high end( Miele refrigerator!!) Loved this place!

Hosted by Dean and Susan

Dean was born and raised in Seward and met his wife Susan in 1978 in Alaska. They settled in Seward in 1982 after they were married. They divide their time between Alaska and Colorado and spend their summers commercial fishing on their salmon seiner in Alaska . In 2017 they purchased and over several years fully renovated Dean's mother's clifftop townhome.
Dean and Susan own another lovely Vrbo property which is # 171435 in Breckenridge Colorado which they have successfully operated for 14 years. They have traveled extensively and enjoy meeting and hosting guests from various parts of the world. They are happy to share local tips and will do everything they can to make your stay a memorable one.

What makes this property unique

This property is very unique as the townhome is in the middle of Seward everything within walking distance and the views are panoramic taking in both the mountain range with Mount Alice directly in front and the enchanting Resurrection Bay with its abundant sea life including spouting whales, playful seals, sea lions and plentiful birdlife. Eagles are a common sight as well as salmon jumping. The pristine bay, flowing rivers, and its untouched surrounds are breathtakingly beautiful and offer both a world class fisher and hunters paradise.
