Munro Lake House Central Location to Northern Michigan's Favorite Activities!

ABOUT THE RENTAL
A serene setting directly on Munro Lake, this three bedroom, two bath home is a perfect getaway for any season! A quick drive to many Northern Michigan favorites. *Please note this is in a remote location. There is a Verizon hot spot at this home, but it is spotty and often goes in and out of service. It's best to plan on not having it and to enjoy the natural beauty of Northern Michigan! You are welcomed into the home through the kitchen and dining area which is open to the living room overlooking the lakefront. There is also a perfect little game table area in the living room as well. Stainless steel appliances and a large dining room table seating six makes it a great space for cooking meals in. There are four extra seats at the breakfast bar as well. The split floor plan offers more privacy to the primary bedroom with a king bed and an en suite, including a large soaking tub and shower and spacious closet space. The second bedroom located on the opposite end of the home has a full-size bed and the third bedroom across the hall from it offers four twins (two bunk beds) which is a great place for kids to hang out or for you to separate a bit if it’s a guy’s weekend away on the snowmobiles. Grab a glass of wine and sit on the large deck to take in the spacious yard and great view of the lake or sit at the lakeshore in the old-time hammock suspended from the many trees. Bring your boat, kayak, and paddleboards and use the dock to enjoy your time on the lake.

*This property allows two dogs, maximum. A non-refundable $150.00 cleaning fee will be charged per pet.

An all-sports lake located just north of Douglas Lake with 515 acres and 5.4 miles of shoreline – home to many Northern Pike, Large Mouth Bass, and Panfish.

Munro Lake house

Very quiet area on Lake Munro. The house has a nice layout, with good size rooms. Convenient location for exploring the area. Had a nice stay there!

The property was clean and nicely set up. We were able to grill and cook most of our dinners which was great. And it is centrally located to Mackinac and petosky and the beaches. Beautiful stay. Property management was responsive via text and we were able to get what was needed. My only concern was the sliding door, it was difficult to slide. My 8 yr old had a hard time and so did the adults at times. We left feeling refreshed, so very peaceful.

A great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was immaculately clean when we arrived. Everything was in good working order and the kitchen was well stocked. The cabin seems quite remote but is actually within a short driving distance to many great restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

A nice quiet property on a calm lake where the kids could swim, fish, paddle board, lay in hammocks and make bonfires and more...There is not much around the general area but it is only about 20 min to Mackinaw City. The house was clean with basic amenities - needed to get a few things to be able to use the grill. Overall it was a fun stay with lots of great memories!
