We stayed here for the Great American Eclipse and we could not have had a better experience!!! The rental is so close to lots of amazing attractions, you really dont hace to drive more than 10 minutes to find something for everyone! The come is very clean and comfortable for a small group, and the views are amazing! Our only regret is that we didnt stay longer! We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to visit in the future!
This locale was close to all the attractions while being tucked away at the end of a quiet street. Peter and Sandra were super responsive and helpful. Loved this place!
We enjoyed our stay due to the cleanliness and simplicity of the VRBO. The views from the bedroom window and deck are undeniably some of the best in the area! We felt comfortable and right at home during a weekend away.
Check in was very easy, the apartment was clean nice mud room, and beds were comfy. No tv in the apartment and the fireplace was not in operation. Washer and dryer are great and shower was good. Overall 4/5
My husband and I were visiting Vermont for the first time to attend a Mini Cooper event, but we wanted to come up a week early so he could save vacation days and we'd be rested beforehand. Peter and Sandra's place was perfect! Super quiet neighborhood, beautiful views, and a comfy bed. We didn't have any problems with the internet, and my husband was able to work uninterrupted the whole time. There is no tv in the house, but we honestly did not miss it - we streamed music and had the windows open for fresh air and watched local wildlife in the daytime and talked, cooked dinner, and watched Youtube videos at night. There are neighbors in the apartments next door/below, but we barely noticed them. The downstairs neighbor talked with us the morning we left and said they never heard us, so that's great! The only thing I could say that might need to be added is a microwave, just because it's not always convenient to warm everything up with the stove/oven, especially in the summer.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we're in the area!
PS. Another great thing was all of the local information that Peter provided for us! Restaurants, shopping, area attractions, and outdoors activities - very thorough and helpful.

Hi! We are Pete and Sandra. We have spent many years guiding camping trips out west. Always love to come back to Vermont for the winter. I grew up in Vermont and Sandra is from Sweden. We have spent most of our life working in the hospitality industry. We really feel great pleasure being able to provide a fun and cozy space for families and couples to relax and reconnect. Usually we are away in the summer working in Alaska with our family. If you happen to be staying here while we are away our co host has been working with us for many years and is filled with local knowledge if needed. We really hope you enjoy!!
Why they chose this property
Paved right to the door so Vermont mud season will not be too harsh on you. It is really a special spot being central to our favorite part of Vermont. If you are here in the winter there are three ski areas a short drive away. If you are here in the summer you can walk off the back porch and down to the Waterbury reservoir. This is a six mile long gorgeous lake. Great fishing, a grassy beach, and boat rentals are a few minutes walk from the house. We are so close to many of Vermont best breweries and restaurants, Apple cider, and Ben and Jerry's. We are happy to share our favorite spots with you as well as other great swimming holes. During Foliage season this spot can't be beat!
What makes this property unique
Our most unique benefit is the ability to walk to a gorgeous lake that has a nice grassy beach. Boat rentals are located right there as well! So close to Cold Hollow Cider mill, Ben and Jerry's, and perfectly place in between Stowe and Waterbury, yet still bordering a state park!
