About this property

Walk to private bay beach, close to Greenport, wineries, golf! Premier Host home

Our home has been a family retreat for over 20 years, and has been completely refreshed in 2022. Interior painted, new furnishings, renovated bathrooms, air conditioning added and a cozy sunroom to relax in. We are located in East Marion, a walk down the lane to a private bay beach, minutes into Greenport, a lovely village on the water with great shops, restaurants and a carousel overlooking the water! Minutes to the Sound beaches, Wineries, Breweries and Golf. If you want to venture further, you can take a ferry over to the south fork via Sheltar Island or drive to Riverhead which has lots to offer: Splish Splash Water park, Aquarium, Outlet shopping, more wineries and breweries and more.

East Marion is a wonderful location for all seasons. Our home has 4 generous sized bedrooms that provide comfort and space for all. And the living area is designed for flexibility with a large screen tv on a swivel mount and plenty of seating.

We plan to continue to spend time at our family home, but also offer it to others to enjoy. We host two other properties in Marco Island Florida and will provide the same level of amenities and guest service for our home in East Marion. Those property numbers are #7601689 and #4141912 for you to see and read the reviews etc.

If you are interested staying, the calendar is accurate but we do have some flexibility with length of stay. Please reach out through the inbox if there are checkin in dates/length of stay showing as unavailable, and we will let you know if we can accommodate you.

Our home is equipped with a Ring doorbell and camera on the far back yard. This is not monitored but is used for security when the house is vacant and to make sure the cleaners arrive and the garbage is picked up after a stay.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please Launder all of the beach towels and fold them and put them back above the washer dryer.
Please place the trash inside the yellow bags and put it in the container by the shed. The recycle can go in the recycling container.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please use the outdoor shower to rinse off sandy feet
Please be respectful of our neighbors in our quiet neighborhood.
Gas grill must be cleaned with the wire brush after each use.

Amazing Stay

I traveled with my 5 sisters to celebrate a birthday and we had the best time! The house is beautiful and so comfortable. Short walk to a beautiful beach and only a few minute drive to Greenport. The set up was perfect to enjoy a meal or sit around and play games! The beds were all comfortable and the bedding was high quality. I would highly recommend and hope I get a chance to go back and stay again!

My family used to vacation in this area years ago and it was such a delight to return with everyone. The house and property were just right for 3 generations to relax and enjoy. The bay beach is a very short walk away and is perfect for little kids. Lots of beach gear, including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and a cart made for easy packing. All you have to bring are your water shoes. Communication with the owner was very easy. She is responsive and accommodating. Such a lovely time .

Wonderful Beach House

Great stay at this beautiful home. Listing was accurate including the private beach for the community. Easy access to Greenport, Orient Point, and many vineyards. The house had everything you needed to feel at home, rooms were spacious and there was an overall warm energy about the place. If I decide to visit this area again, I would stay here again! Golf Getaway

This was a great house rental for us. It is a newly updated home that is very clean and well stocked. We had a group of 8 stay for the weekend and it was perfect for us. The owner was easy to communicate to with if you had any questions. Would definitely recommend this rental to anyone heading out to the North Fork.

Wedding Weekend

The property was better than the pictures, interior and exterior. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk and beautiful as well. Other than our luggage, food, snacks and beverages we didn’t need to bring anything else, the home was fully equipped. In summary this was one of the best trips we’ve been on and the accommodations were a big part of the experience.

Can't wait to go back!

This house and location is amazing. Short walk to a private, beautiful beach. Close to the ferry, Greenport and so many vineyards. The pictures of the house don't even do it justice -- it's so much nicer in person (which never happens). It was also well stocked with towels, comfortable sheets, paper products, etc. We had everything we needed!

Relaxing family getaway

My family and I had a lovely stay at this property! Neighborhood was peaceful and a quick drive into Greenport as well as to the end of orient point. It was early in the season for a beach day but we did walk down the path to have my nephews throw rocks in the water and collect a few shells. The adults in our group had a nice afternoon at a winery, also close by. Would definitely stay here again if we’re looking for another stay on the north fork, especially for a week in the summer. Beautiful home

We stayed at the East Marion home for my nephew’s wedding. The neighborhood was quaint and a short walk to a sandy beach. The house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The kitchen had condiments and coffee filters, sugar, etc. and Kathleen seemed to anticipated everything you could need or want. The beds were so comfortable and we loved the back sunroom. There were plenty of towels, shampoo and bathroom supplies as well as beach chairs and games. We would definitely stay here again!!

Hidden Gem!

East Marion is a special place for my family. We have been going out for years and we’ve found the perfect home for our stay! You can’t get a better location. It’s a quick walk to a private, peaceful beach that’s great for a swim, reading a book, meditation and picking up pretty shells with the kids... to name a few! The neighborhood is quiet and quaint with a special feeling of really being on vacation. Great for walks, bikes, exploring and if you pass the lavender farm, the scent! It’s 10 min from Greenport, where there is a ton to do for all ages. We had a lot of meals and ice cream there and took many many go arounds on the carousel! We played mini golf and drove through Southold too. There are farms, farm stands and wineries, never running out of things to do! The house itself is perfect. Entirely updated, completely stocked and functional for a big family or group of friends. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, we were very comfortable! We used both the central air conditioning during the day and then the ceiling fans with windows open on perfectly cool evenings. We got groceries and made breakfast in the full kitchen with everything you’d need to whip something up. There is an awesome patio out back and a full BBQ. We hung out on the porch quite a bit and our kids spotted Deer and Turkey, which was so fun! Best for last and my personal favorite, the outdoor shower! It’s spa-like and serene to have that time out there rinsing off. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful stay!

Our family had an incredible vacation at this home. The home is very clean, well appointed and the decor is lovely. We really appreciated the four spacious bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses and all of the linens, towels and furnishings were top quality. The one block walk to the private beach was so convenient and the setting picturesque, looking out to a lighthouse and Shelter Island. All of our beach needs were provided: beach cart, beach chairs, floats, and beach toys. And after a day at the beach we enjoyed playing the yard games provided. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet and you really feel like you are “away from it all”, yet there is so much close by. We had ages, children to adults, and there is something for everyone: beach, Islands End Golf Course a minute away, walking trails, wineries and breweries, farm stands,Greenport (and the carousel!). We enjoyed it all! Kathy was a great and responsive host. We also really appreciated that the home was well stocked with paper goods, trash bags, laundry detergent, shampoo etc. This is something not typically supplied in other homes we have stayed at. We look forward to returning!

Great Stay in the North Fork

Great vacation home in the North Fork. Lovely secluded neighborhood. Quick 5 minute ride to downtown Greenport. Quick 5 minute walk to a private local beach where we went almost every day. Very nice sunroom where our family spent a lot of time just lounging and hanging out. House was clean and comfortable and very nicely decorated. Although we brought our own paper goods, detergent, and other things, we did not really need to as the house came with everything we needed for our entire 2 week stay. There were also chairs, umbrellas, towels, and sand toys for the kids that we could use at the beach. Kathy the host checked in with us before our trip and a few times during our trip to see how we were doing and to give us recommendations for their favorite local restaurants and activities in the area. We are looking forward to coming back and renting again in the future!

We live in the Boston Ma area. I grew up on Long Island and spent part of my summers “Out East” as a child. My parents purchased this home in the late 1980’s and it is a beloved family home that we were fortunate to be able to purchase. Our three children spend many weeks here each summer with their grandparents and cousins. As they got older they continued to spend time and enjoy not only the beaches, but the wineries and all the wonderful things the North Fork has to offer. We are now looking forward to sharing it with them and our grandchildren.

We plan to open up our home to others when we are not using it.

Why they chose this property

Our home is in a private community. A walk down the lane to a private beach. We are located 10 Minutes from the Orient Point ferry and an easy drive from Metro New York and other Long Island areas. A short 5 minute drive into the Village of Greenport. Islands End Golf course a mile away. And of course all of the fabulous wineries and breweries on the north fork are within minutes.

What makes this property unique

Our home is comfortable for groups of friends or families. Four large bedrooms and two newly renovated bathrooms, plus an oversized outdoor shower. We provide everything you need for your stay. Fully stocked kitchen, beach gear, beach towels, games etc.

Our private beach is wonderful to relax on. Or enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking etc on the typically calm waters of the bay.
