Girls trip

We had a wonderful stay at the Hummingbird Cabin. The view was gorgeous and the home was very clean and comfortable. We were just minutes from downtown snug harbor and enjoyed visiting the restaurants and shops. Great place for a relaxing girls weekend!

A lovely weekend getaway

The property was beautiful, well appointed and the location was fantastic. We walked into town twice during the weekend. The hosts were fabulous and left a thoughtful welcome for us. We would love to visit the property again in the summer to make use of the amazing outdoor spaces even more, the view was incredible! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wildlife

Lovely property. Owners very thoughtfully left us a bottle of wine. Great wildlife with deer about and plenty of whale action out on the bay. Would recommend staying here.

Modern and clean with water view

We had a great experience in this spacious, clean modern cabin on Hummingbird Lane, Bowen Island. Beautiful view, high ceilings, comfortable king size bed, quality fixtures and furniture. Host communicates instantly - would come back again!

What a beautiful property!

Melissa and Dom's place was literally the nicest rental property I've ever stayed at. It still looks and smells brand new. Great views of the bay and great communication between Melissa and myself. I definitely have this place at the top of my list if I'm ever back in Bowen Island!

Beautiful and peaceful

The rental was modern, clean, and well-equipped. The view is outstanding. We could see whales from our deck. There are a lot of hills on Bowen Island, so be prepared!

The photo of the outside of the house does not depict the property as it really is...the cottage has an occupied suite below the unit and the main deck was covered with construction dust.

Wonderful Stay

This is a beautiful place. Our hosts were extremely accommodating, the modern cabin is perfectly equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. As previous guests have commented, one cannot say enough about the view from the front windows- it is stunning, even on a cloudy day. Thank you so much Mel and Dom. We’ll see you again!

What an amazing property!!!

I stayed with my adult daughter and we absolutely loved it! The owner, was very prompt and professional while answering my enquires. The property is totally amazing! The views are breath-taking.. My only negative comment would be that they are on a very big hill (which they are up front about) and it was kind of hard to park the car and walk up the hill after using their beautiful hot tub and sauna. The views from the communal hot tub and sauna again were stunning! The cabin was immaculate. thank you for the most amazing stay.

Modern Cabin

The property is exactly as described, modern and exceptionally clean. It was perfect for 2 couples. Dom and Melissa left us to enjoy the cabin but were quick to respond when we required more coffee. They even provided us with a delicious bottle of red wine which we enjoyed with our steak that we BBQ’d on the deck. Our only complaint was the weather which was horrible but beyond anyones control. We will return when hopefully we can really explore Bowen Island without getting soaked.

Owner was amazing at communication and always got back to me within minutes. Was always more then friendly when responding to any of my questions. Beautiful cabin and amazing view. Would definitely go back!

Fantastic view, great location, easy check-in and communication

The view is breathtaking, having morning coffee or evening glass of wine and watching changing colors of ocean water and mountain views as the sun is raising or setting down - so beautiful! The location worked great for us - just few minutes drive to the restaurants, shops, beaches (Cates beach is our favorite!), Killarney lake. The property is exactly as it is presented on photos and described, super clean, and had all we needed. Would definitely consider this place for our next visits to Bowen Island.
