The land and location is very good looking, being tucked into the corner of the lake feels private but still involved.

The property was beautiful, and despite the call for rain, the majority of the time the sun came out, allowing for time to read and sunbathe on the upper deck balcony and lower deck with a bit more shade. The decor was lovely, and Kristen the owner was communicative right away. (One suggestion may be to bring something to cushion yourself on the upper balcony lounge chairs.) The view from there is so relaxing and peaceful!

Beautiful, tranquil lake home! The home was spotlessly clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and had so many really nice updates. It was the perfect setting for our girls weekend. It’s at a quiet spot at the end of the cove perfect for floating and chatting with minimal boat traffic ( the lake was a bit low which made for shallow water but we all had water shoes which helped with the marshy bottom). Had so much fun on the kayaks and just hanging out around the bar at the boathouse and on the screened porch. Kristen was always immediately responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing time!

The house was just as promised. Communication was great and any questions we had were answered wry quickly. The dock was exactly what we needed as we brought our fishing boat. We were able to leave it at the dock and charge the batteries at night with a plug at the dock. My wife loved laying out on the platform on top of the dock. Overall, we could not asked for more.

Visit to Lake Gaston

Great location for our first trip to Lake Gaston. The cottage was as advertised-which is always a plus. Clean and very well maintained inside and out. The WIFI was great. No cable but we had our own streaming services so there was no issue with the TV's. The cottage was well stocked with the essentials. We enjoyed our stay.

July, 2023

We have been vacationing at Lake Gaston for 15 years. This was 1 of the best houses and docks. The water is shallow, but great for floating. The house was well stocked and very clean.

Summer lake trip

We had an amazing time! We wish we could have stayed longer. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We spent every evening enjoying the large screened porch and the boathouse was great for our boat and hanging out. It is shallow and bottom is a little mossy so water shoes are nice to have. Great fun stay!

Wonderful property!

We had a wonderful time! The home well stocked with all the creature comforts "a home away from home". We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee and our evening family gatherings on the screened in porch overlooking the lake. We brought our boat with us and had no issues. Would definitely recommend this home for others and we plan on returning in the future.

This is an AMAZING place! It is sooo peaceful and beautiful! We had a girls weekend with three generations and everything was perfect! The house is so clean, cutely decorated and has everything you would need. It’s obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought and care into their beautiful home! The outdoor spaces are incredible. Had coffee and bfast at the table at the boat house one morning and on the big screened porch the second day. I can’t say enough about this little “slice of heaven”. I can’t wait to return!

Great place to stay!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, The house is set up to make your stay as trouble free as possible. Boathouse is very nice and even equipped with lighting controlled via Bluetooth. the water is only 2.5' around the boathouse but it was not a problem for us. If you don't bring a boat swimming may be difficult.
