Our stay in Nauvoo was absolutely wonderful, thanks to Rebecca and her exceptional apartment. Rebecca was incredibly informative and proactive in her communications before our stay, making everything seamless and stress-free. The apartment itself was immaculate and exceeded our expectations in every way. It had everything we needed, which truly made our time in Nauvoo easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here—Rebecca has created a fantastic experience for her guests!

Responsive host
Do not book if you have animal allergies. My daughter became very ill as soon as we arrived at the property. The host was very responsive and worked with us on a refund and finding another place to stay.
We loved staying there , my kids begged to come back again . My only issue were the sheets and pillow cases on the master didn’t smell clean so I had a hard time sleeping . Otherwise it was a place I would return to again .
This is a great space and a perfect location. I cant really imagine finding anything better for the price and it was exactly what we needed. The house is old, and I believe that is part of what contributes to the smell, but there's also some kind of animal smell. I honestly wonder if it isn't bats? The primary smell seemed to be coming from the entry area and when we closed of the door at the top of the stairs it made it much better. Overall though, this is a great place. We have animals at home and live on a hobby farm, the smell wasnt that bad and for the price and location I will definitely look to stay here again!
Good Location, Clean and Comfortable..but the SMELL
Pros: The place was very clean and comfortable for our stay. The location was excellent. The hostess was kind and was willing to make our stay more comfortable. Cons: The smell of pets was REALLY BAD. The odor was overwhelming. It took some time before we got used to it, but it hit us every time we came back there.
We had a great stay in the Fairy Bowery! On the website it has a single bed listed in the bedroom, we were happy to see it was a bunk bed! We had a great stay and the host was very accommodating.
REALLY nice apartment! Comfy and well stocked with bedding, pots and pans, towels etc. Its an old house, which I love, but the floor creaks so don't plan on sneaking in the kitchen for a midnight snack! We had a super great time and definitely would come back to this apartment!

The Fairy Bowery was clean and felt like home. It was so nice to be able to just relax and not worry about a long list of check out rules. We would absolutely stay here again!
Our family enjoyed our stay at the fairy Bowery. The location was perfect for our visit. We really didn’t spend much time there, but each night when we returned we had a great nights sleep. Plenty of beds, air mattresses, blankets, etc. We loved that it had two full bathrooms for our family of six.
It was a cute little place. It was just me and a friend so plenty of room. Excellent location and easy parking. I could smell the cat smell that other reviews posted about so just be aware of that if you are allergic. The place was clean. We didn't need to use the kitchen at all so I can't speak to appliances.

Terrible Smells
If you like the smell of cats, cat urine, and dust then this place is for you. Find a different location if you are sensitive to smell!
The house was perfectly located within walking distance to stores and downtown. I was sufficient in size. Unfortunately it smelled like cat urine and kitty litter. When we wanted to buy some form of air freshener, there was a note stating that they were not allowed to be used in the house?! . The shower water never got hot enough. It stayed just above the warm temp. The wood stairs leading up to the house were not lit and so it was dangerous to walk up and down when they were wet and slippery.
WE really enjoyed it, and the location for Nauvoo. It was very nice. Loved the angels and the mice pics. It was roomy. Loved the large table so we could play games.
Thank You
The master bed is comfortable. The bunk beds appear to be sized and accessible for children rather than adults (tight squeeze but doable). Two full baths great for multiple people staying. The kitchen has plenty dishware, utensils, equipment. The rooms are clean.
Rebeca was readily reachable.
Beautiful older apartment. Charming environment. Well stocked kitchen with all the tools to prepare meals. Responsive owners. I’m now a repeat visitor.
I would stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.
It's in a cute old building. My parents appreciated the Master bedroom and bath.
Just up the street from the temple and Zion's Mercantile.
And a quick drive to the historic buildings.
There are stairs to get to the front door and a few more stairs just inside. But, the outside steps are lighted and all the stairs are easy to navigate.
