Our stay was very relaxing and amazing. We walked talked with Bob regarding the cabin fire that had happened January of this year. We were able to look at the other cabins. Visited tje goats. The amazing greenhouse that was made out of all kinds of different windows.
What a great getaway for the night! Drove over from the Chicago burbs to get away and unplug for 24 hours. Perfect! Nice quiet secluded spot to just unwind for a bit. The star of the show for us was Paris the dog! She greeted us upon arrival and led us to our treehouse, She ended up staying the night with us and the next morning took us on a walking tour of the property. We just lost our 11 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback last week so it was nice to give some pets and love to a pup. Thanks Bob, we will make a trip back sometime!
Everything about this treehouse and stay was exactly what we were looking for. We had a wonderful time out in nature and slowing down from the busyness of our lives.
My family had a blast staying in the Captain’s Quarters treehouse, wishing we were staying longer! My boys absolutely loved exploring and hanging out. We would definitely stay again!
Peaceful walking trails with a fun and relaxing treehouse to stay for the night. We enjoyed the experience and exploring the property The owner is absolutely fantastic and attentive. Looking forward to our return and the dog Paris
What a fantastic place to stay. A quaint and cozy house. Bob is a great host and I recommend everyone have a stay here. There is a little hike to get to your cabin with wagons to help get your items to and from. My family and I enjoyed every minute. Thanks Bob! Oh and he had awesome souvenirs!
Such a fun adventure! Quiet woods, lots of privacy, which was important given the open air shower. Bob was a fantastic and responsive host. Really enjoyed our stay.
We loved it here. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful - Bob was great to chat with and very knowledge. The outside showers were fun and had warm water! Highly recommend relaxing at Ten Acres Treehouses! !

We had a unique and memorable stay at the treehouse. The setting is peaceful, and the property itself is very charming. We especially enjoyed the overall experience, as well as meeting Paris and the goats, which added to the character of the stay. The space was as described, and check-in was simple. It’s a great option for anyone looking for something different and close to nature.During our stay, we did experience a higher number of wasps around the treehouse and an issue with frozen pipes, which impacted our experience. These may be seasonal factors, but they are worth noting for future guests.Communication was clear, though at times felt more direct than supportive.Overall, we enjoyed our time and appreciated the experience, but there are a few things future guests should be aware of.
My family and I just spent the weekend at the Captain Treehouse and it was amazing. The owner is so accommodating and oh the dog Paris is the most loving dog ever. The experience of outdoors and having everything you need there was amazing. I would do recommend that everyone go here to stay . Thank you Bob and Paris.
