Nice property in a convenient location. Mini golf, coffee shops and a nice cafe is within walking distance. We spent the evenings around the fire pit and had a lot of fun. Homeowner (or someone) lives at the property when it’s not rented as we found the fridge was stocked with their food, etc, so you had to manage around that. Seemed a little strange but it didn’t affect our stay too much.
This couldnt have been a more perfect house. We were in Taylor Falls for our best friends wedding. We have little kiddos so wanted to be comfortable for the weekend. We got just that at this property! It was perfect for our family and perfect place for the bride to get ready. The "rehersal" dinner was just across the street at the Drive In (delicious food BTW), and the wedding was just a few blocks down at Interstate State Park. Perfect weekend. Thank you so much!
We found the house to be very clean. The kitchen was well appointed and we found everything we needed at the house for our stay. The fridge and cupboards were stocked with some of the owners items which while we understood them to be available for our use still felt a little awkward. However we still had plenty of space so it was really a non-issue.
The house has a nice backyard with a fire pit and chairs for a group. Across the street is a family run drive-in that serves up a nice menu; just a short walk down the street is a coffee shop. Easy walking distance to the nearby state park and the St. Croix river.
We enjoyed our stay - thanks Kate!
We loved our stay! Centrally located to all our needs & wants. Kate was in touch in case we needed anything. Well stocked & comfy. Grandkids had a ball staying across from the minigolf. We felt right @ home and will definitely book next Taylors Falls trip.
We had a lovely weekend at this home. It was the perfect location for this area with an easy walk downtown. The home was well kept and cozy and the host was accommodating. The property had everything we needed and we had a very relaxing time.
Great location for a girl's weekend. There were 6 of us that stayed and it was perfect and comfortable for all. The kitchen has anything and everything you would need for cooking or grilling. The location is fantastic and within walking distance to all of the attractions and shopping. Parking was perfect for our 4 vehicles. Kate was awesome with communication, welcoming and the check in/out times are really good. Thanks for everything!!!
My buddy's and I had a great time at this beautiful cabin. Great place with plenty of things to do. Host was good provided alot of stuff even a new gas grill just for our stayed. Communication was good and fast.
We all had a great time.
This calming retreat/escape, the wknd before our daughter’s wedding, was a necessity!
We needed a calm, but energizing environment to spend a weekend together, and to brainstorm ideas for upcoming events. We had no clue the beauty + serenity found in our own backyard! We stayed local in MN, instead of a National Park, but got much more bang for the buck, right here! A++ retreat. It’s rustic + cozy, and centered in a hopping, bustling town to “people watch”while toasting marshmallows! It’s hard to describe, but it’s both trendy urban AND rural Nature, at once. The utensils in the kitchen to the fire pit + the porch seating = exceptional + noteworthy experience and place!
