Moon Bay Condo was great for our Key Largo Vacation

Our family had a fantastic week staying at Moon Bay. The unit was more than comfortable for our family with two teens and we were very impressed with the property. The common amenities were extremely well maintained. We enjoyed the docks (with fish cleaning station) for fishing and amazing sunsets, grills, pool, sauna and clubhouse daily. Everyone we encountered throughout our stay was so friendly, with many long-time renters. The location is ideal, allowing for day trips to Miami and Key West, with options for fishing charters, snorkeling, and personal watercraft rentals minutes away. We also loved breakfast at Mrs. Mac’s, and bringing our catch to Snook’s. It was our first time to the Keys, and we look forward to returning in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during our first visit to the Florida Keys. Condo was clean, quiet, and well stocked with a beautiful view. Grounds and amenities were very nice. Check-in very easy. I would highly recommend this location.

Awesome place to stay!

This unit was fantastic! It was spacious, clean, and well stocked with necessities, as well as some fun extras (fishing poles and pool noodles). The location in Key Largo is very convenient to local attractions and restaurants, and it is close to other areas to do day trips (Key West & the Everglades). Thank you for a great place to stay for a memorable vacation!

Great stay!

The condo met our needs perfectly. The kitchen was full-sized and generously stocked. The balcony was large and had a beautiful view of the water. It was quiet and private. The pool area was a highlight. It was a short walk to several restaurants/bars/food trucks. We went on a glass bottom boat trip and then did some kayaking at the state park a short distance down the road. The owner was super responsive. We would most definitely stay there again!

Moon Bay has it all

This is our second stay at Moon Bay and it has it all. There is something for every interest including a large dock that is set up for fishing with cleaning station, Ice machines and shelter on the dock. You could spend your stay on the property and enjoy every minute. We really liked this rental which had a covered parking space that was right next to the elevator. Communications with the owner was very good also.

Family vacation

Checkin was easy per instructions. Owner answered questions promptly. Place was comfy and clean. Pool area was nice. We were there several times. Residents were friendly and we even got to join in on the Fourth of July festivities with front row seats to the fireworks.

Great community

The community here is great. Everyone was very enjoyable and the unit worked great for our small family. The sunsets were amazing and being able to grill down by the water made for very enjoyable dinners

Everything you need!

We stayed for a week and were very comfortable (family of four). Condo had everything we needed. Plenty of things for the kids to do to keep them occupied. Pool was nice, view of the bay is beautiful, proximity to grocery store and state park are very convenient. We’d like to go back next year!

We loved the smaller resort feel. The condo was perfect for us and the view spectacular. We included the 5th floor stairs in our morning walk/workout. We also walked to restaurants. Overall, an A on this property.

Excellent accommodations and so much to do!

Our accommodations included plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, pool and the grounds had grills and food prep spaces so we could enjoy multiple meals down by the water. Everyone so friendly and we were within driving distance of all activities. Our host - Mike - communicated in a very timely manner both before and during our stay. Our 20 something daughters had a blast. We will be back!

Great Condo

Great Condo booked for 9 days ate at a different restaurant every day all were delicious. Used this place as a base camp for scuba diving it is on the fifth floor but wasn’t an issue as I brought a collapsible cart for my gear and they provide carts also view was beautiful from the balcony and bed was firm but comfortable coffee maker worked great and bathroom was very nice washer and dryer seemed a little complicated at first but worked worked easily once understood overall I would definitely recommend staying here it was a fantastic experience.

Nice condo in beautiful complex

Would recommend this complex to anyone. It's beautiful and overlooks the ocean. It has a small beach and a grilling station. There are a lot of hammocks to enjoy for reading or just looking at the water. There's also a small marina with beautiful boats. We would recommend this complex to anyone!

IT WAS BETTER THAN WE THOUGHT IT COULD BE!

Pictures do not do justice to this condo or the gorgeous location!! The furniture and artwork were all very tasteful and not your normal plastic fish on the wall. Embroidered sheets, and lush beds and pillows. The best view of the ocean and sunset we could have ever asked for. Quiet, lush landscaping that made us feel like we were in an oasis. The pool was never crowded and there were plenty of chairs available all day. Everyone we met were gracious and kind and there was no "party" atmosphere that can ruin a vacation. Walking distance to great restaurants and sundown dining decks. Although, we agreed, the view for America's best sunsets were right at our place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WE WILL BE BACK!

Great family getaway during Covid

Property is clean and updated. Kitchen is well stocked. Easy no contact check in process. The condo has a great view, enjoyed sitting on balcony in the morning having coffee. Great club house which is updated. The dock was a nice place to fish and watch the sunset. It has a nice pool. Close proximity to area shops and restaurants. Hope to be back in the future. Michele

Great property, great location

This property is as advertised. The view is fantastic, the property and amenities are really nice. The sunsets are AMAZING! Unit is well furnished and comfortable. Can't comment on TV, electronics, etc., we never used it. Easy walking distance to multiple bars/restaurants and very short drive to the grocery store. We met many of the owners in the condo complex, all were super nice and welcoming to us. Mike was very responsive when contacted. Two minor negatives: If the sun is out and blazing, the balcony is totally exposed to the western sun and virtually unusable in the afternoon, evening until the sun sets. we either went to the pool and hung out or went out to the tiki hut on the boat dock. The unit was not ready and had not been cleaned upon our arrival, but was promptly rectified and we were only a little late in getting access to the unit.

Fantastic Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay! The accommodations were clean, furniture/beds were comfortable. The property itself was extremely private and quiet. We were often the only people using the beach and dock area. We met some people that have been coming to the Keys for over 10 years. They said they have tried other places and always come back to Moon Bay. The grilling area was set up well. Complete with a sink and counter top area. The owners of this condo were amazing. We love to cook (even on vacation) and the one thing usually lacking is the kitchen - this was not the case with this kitchen. The pool area was gorgeous although we honestly never used it. We could snorkel from the beach area. We saw manatees, nurse sharks and a variety of different fish. The boys caught several different fish off the dock - the fishing poles as part of the condo was a huge plus! We kayaking and paddle boarding which was a great adventure. Moon Bay provided a one stop place for everything we wanted in a quiet, private, beautiful setting. We had planned other activities and once we got there the boys kept saying why would we leave to do that when we can do it all here. We did not even use half of what this property had to offer and wished we had booked a stay longer than 6 days! We will be back!

Our time at Moonbay was wonderful. The condo was clean and well stocked. It is in a perfect location, top floor and end unit. The views were beautiful! The bed and furniture were comfortable. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The amenities at Moonbay are all well taken care of. I would highly recommend this unit and would stay again.
