This property is exactly what is shown in the pictures. The pool was a hit with the kids. The house was very clean and they offered many extra’s, tide pods, bathroom amenities. Communication was super quick when needed. I would absolutely stay here again! No complaints!

Can’t recommend enough! Private, peaceful, clean and beautifully decorated place for a stay. Beautiful pool and grounds to enjoy all day. Can’t think of a single thing they missed for a perfect getaway. Clean as can be, everything worked as it should, comfortable beds and indoor and outdoor furniture for relaxing. Pool was terrific with plenty of privacy and both sun and shade. Really grateful for such a physically and socially comfortable stay.

The cottage was absolutely adorable and spotless. I really appreciated the small touches that made it feel like home. For me, having shelves in the shower/tub gets bonus points every time. The pool was clean and refreshing. The location is hands down the best!! Very easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. I am looking forward to visiting again for maybe a sister trip. Maybe during the cooler weather so we can enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. Thank you again Jake and Janelle for sharing your cottage.Carolann C

The owners have done a wonderful job of creating a lovely oasis with quick access to all that Lancaster and the surrounding area has to offer. Well appointed and designed for relaxation; we had a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! When we checked in, we noticed that it was very clean and tidy. The upstairs loft was great for our kids! Towels, shower supplies and pool supplies were provided. The location was serene and we spotted frogs and a family of ducks at the creek! The big pool was very refreshing after a long day in the sun. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend!

I wanted to treat my family to a relaxing 4th of July getaway and Jake & Janelle’s cottage house was perfect.They messaged me the morning of with all of the check-in information, and were very responsive when I had any questions.The cottage was beautiful. The pool was relaxing, and the modern kitchen made putting dinner together a breeze.We look forward to booking the cottage in the future. Would absolutely recommend - 10/10!

Cottage getaway

This property is so beautiful and the owners make it a seamless experience. The pool is perfect for a family swim day, and it’s located perfectly to access all your needs! Highly recommend for a home away from home type feel!

The cottage is so warm and cozy! The fireplace, and hot tub were a big hit with the kids.the hosts were very prompt with responses to questions, even though they were out of the country. Such dedication. We had such a lovely stay, and everything was clean and so perfectly set up for a family with small children. We will definitely stay again!

We spend 3 night in this wonderful cottage. Everything was super clean. The shower liner was brand new and so was the kitchen sponge. This are details that matter a lot to me. The place was very quiet and peaceful. We did not get to use the pool; we wanted rather to explore Lancaster. The location of the cottage was perfect, very close to shops, restaurants and Sight and Sound. The host was fantastic, responded very quickly when contacted. The house was well equipped and pleasantly decorated, with plenty of light, space and mirrors 😁 The AC was quiet and worked perfectly. We stayed in places in the past with very noisy air conditioning units. Overall, everything was excellent!

Perfect weekend getaway

Our family of 4 enjoyed every detail of the cottage! The high end finishes combined with a kids room upstairs and in ground pool made it the perfect getaway. We enjoyed saying hello to our neighbors and Ally while we there as well!

What an absolutley lovely cottage. Very well appointed and so well decorated and fresh. The host has a real eye for decor and detail! Also, different than some other VRBOs we have stayed at, the kitchen utensils and equipment was of great quality.Just a great choice as a getaway or home base to explore the beautiful Amish countryside.
