You will be close to everything when you arrive. Park the car and don’t get back in it until it’s time to leave. 2 blocks to shopping, dining, and parks. Under a mile to town beach. This 3 level home gives you plenty of common space for the family to reconnect, while offering ample space to spread out and relax. Zoned central air allows everyone to control the temp of their room and remain comfortable.
First floor you will find your living room, dining room, half bath , laundry, and fully stocked kitchen
On the second floor you will find 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a full bath with shower.
Go up to the third floor and you will find two twin beds plus a day bed that can be opened to 2 additional twin beds or 1 king size bed. This space is perfect for overflow guests or private space for the kids to claim as their own.
The best space of the home is the private screen room off the kitchen. This is the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail and make memories. Exit the screen room into a fenced back yard with patio. Enjoy the outdoor shower and the Weber gas grill. Finally, leave your beach gear at home since we have stocked you up with a beach umbrella, beach chairs, towels, and even your coolers.

House is great--great location and wonderful space in a nicely renovated older home. As you might find in older homes, the stairs are very steep and narrow which might be difficult to navigate with individuals with mobility issues. Looking forward to returning in the warmer months when we can use the porch and outdoor space.

Pleasant rental experience

The house was remarkably clean when we arrived, which is such a nice way to start your vacation. The location is great, with just a short walking distance to downtown, or other local businesses. Everything was as listed and we were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the house. Joe was so nice and easy to communicate with during our stay, and we would definitely keep this as an option for any further Lewes trips!

The house is charming and very clean. The hosts were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. House is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Easy to get to the beach. The screened in porch is lovely for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location!! Clean and cozy home. A little difficult for young children as the stairs are very steep (normal for an old house). Back patio and outdoor shower were a favorite. Great beach amenities. Home is a duplex and walls are quite thin (again, normal for an older house), noise from neighbors nextdoor was not unreasonable but just not something we are used to and it woke us up at night. Plan accordingly! All in all a great place but probably better suited for older children and adults

Perfect spot to enjoy Lewes

The property was very accessible and convenient to walk to many things. It was clean and comfortable and fully outfitted. The owner was very responsive to the few questions that arose. We will be back for sure! Super cute historic house.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect, and the outdoor space is incredible. It was very rainy for our entire trip but we were still able to enjoy time outside thanks to the screened patio. The host was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our trip smooth.The only significant issue we had was the mustiness in the house, which triggered allergy issues for more than one person. Because we spent most of our time outside, it was manageable. The floors were dirty, but otherwise the house was very clean.We also were charged a 250 cleaning fee but expected to strip the beds, take out the trash, and other similar tasks.Despite those issues, we would return--the location and outside space made up for any shortcomings of the house.

Loved this house. Has everything and is in a great location. Very responsive owners. If you’re worried about the hospital being across the street: don’t worry. The few ambulances that did show up did not have any sirens.

Great spot

Great little house, very clean and stocked, easily walkable to all the Lewes establishments, short drive/bike or just a bit of a hike to the beach. Enjoyed hanging on the back screen porch and taking advantage of all the provided beach amenities (chairs, towels, umbrella), games, and thoughtful kitchen touches like filtered water, frosted mugs, etc. The stairs are steep, so might be concerning for a young child or not so sure-footed adult, but otherwise you will enjoy and we'll look to come back. Host great to communicate with.

Perfect vacation home!!!

I booked this for a family vacation over the Fourth of July. First off, the host, messaged me with up-to-date details for our check-in, which was actually ended up being ready hours earlier than expected. Check in was easy. The property itself is well-kept and was very clean, probably the cleanest Vrbo I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a beautiful renovated duplex home with a perfect screened porch and cute backyard. Initially, I was concerned about the potential for noise from the other side, but we never heard the neighbors. The rooms were more than accommodating, beds were comfortable, and everything was what we needed and more. The kitchen was stocked, and there were several games for the kids, not to mention any beach going accessory you might need is on the property. The location, although being near a hospital, was really perfect. There were occasional noises associated with it, but did not disrupt our vacation in the least. The home is just a couple blocks to downtown and less than a mile to the beach. We were able to walk to both with no problems. The host also gave several recommendations for going to local July 4th celebrations and his favorite beach spots. This place was so comfortable and enjoyable, I absolutely plan to book it again. Joe is an excellent host, and it is obvious that he cares about the property and wants his guests to have a great stay.
