Sestri Levante is a beautiful town on the Italian Riviera, approximately halfway between Portofino (45 min) and Cinque Terre (1 hour 10 min). The town is situated between two sandy beaches, the Baia di Silenzio (Bay of Silence) and the Baia delle Favole (Bay of Fables); has typical pastel colored Ligurian buildings, a boardwalk, and pedestrian area with many shops and restaurants. There is much to do in the town and is a perfect point of departure for visiting many local sites and hiking networks.
