Had a great time. Beautiful property. Only complaint was in the upstairs bunk bed bedroom there are no shades in the top windows. They are on the east side so when the sun comes up it gets pretty light early.We would stay again for sure.

Our family of 7 stayed at this beautiful house, located on a hill with a lovely view of a lake. It's 15 minutes to town, and easy to find with GPS. Clean home, lots of rooms for adults anplenty of parking.

Great Thanksgiving Stay

My nieces and their partners and my brother all stayed over Thanksgiving. They were very impressed with the accommodations and raved about the place. Plenty of room for three couples and a single with all the amenities. Highly recommend this house.

Sunflower Showdown Weekend

We rented the property to visit our daughter at KU and to celebrate Thanksgiving early with my wife’s family. Other than K-State getting the victory- we had a great time and enjoyed being together at this beautiful property. We highly recommend- it is well maintained and was as advertised. We would certainly rent again.

Jayhawk Sports Weekend

We have a group of friends that graduated together from KU, and we get together every few years. This year, 8 of us came to Lawrence for a BBall Game and a FBall Game. The house 20 minutes west of the University was very comfortable and convenient for us. Everything was organized and provided to make our stay enjoyable. The beds were all comfy. There was plenty of seating indoors for us to socialize. The outdoor patio and decks with beautiful views of the lake and prairie are a special treat with a fire pit and plenty of seats for lounging. Darrell and Maria were accessible and gracious the entire time. We would definitley return to their house.

Football Weekend at an Outstanding Home!

My adult sons and one adult grandson and I came to Lawrence from Georgia for a football game. This home was one of the highlights of our long weekend stay. Everything at the home was as stated/written. Upstairs and downstairs were really like two homes in one. Two bedrooms each, bathrooms, full kitchens and comfortable dens. Well stocked and clear directions. The isolation of the property was ideal. No loud traffic or neighbors. A short drive to a shopping area with restaurants, pharmacy, Walmart other services. In and out of Lawrence and KU quickly. The back decks and porches lent itself to some of the most spectacular sun sets and rises and a full moon that I can remember. When your overall trip is outstanding and when near the top of the memories is the home you rented, you know the place is special.

Great home and location for family getaway!

We hosted a “grandma camp” for our family at this location. The house is out in country but close to lawrence and clinton lake. The kids loved going to the beach at clinton lake and the 5 acre property. The owner was very helpful when we called with questions!

Lovely home for a family reunion!

Beautiful location and a large, clean, well-stocked house with a lovely view to Clinton Lake. We managed to sleep 11 comfortably with the addition of one air matrress. Plenty of bathrooms and a nice kitchen. The owners are helpful and quick to communicate. We’ve had 11 people edge three 285 and it worked well. OK Many thanks for making our family reunion a success!

Beautifully peaceful

This condo was perfect for a little family get away. We enjoyed all of our meals on the patio and had a hard time deciding which one to use as they all had beautiful scenery. We took walks around the property and took in all of the gorgeous vegetation. The close proximity to the marina made it easy for us to load our boat daily. We loved having stores and restaurants very close as well. Highly recommend this place. We will be returning!
