This large 1400 square-foot, two-bedroom, single level, beautifully furnished condo has spectacular ocean views from the front lanai, living room, master bedroom, and kitchen. This third-floor unit has both ocean and mountain views and is a 3-minute walk to one of the top beaches in the world, Poipu Beach.

What makes Nihi Kai Unit #422 a destination you will not forget? The condo is 100 yards from the water and overlooks one of the best turtle viewing spots on the island. The condo is located close to the complex's amenities. The interior has been tastefully decorated with enough space for a large group. The kitchen and bathrooms were remodeled to include a glass tile shower, new cabinets, granite kitchen counters, and more. The master bedroom has a queen-size mattress and private bathroom. The second bedroom has two full-size beds (sleeps up to 4) and a private bathroom. A den, separated from the living area by 8-foot privacy walls and sliding doors, contains a full-size bed. The unit contains wireless internet and a high-definition cable 55-inch TV. High ceilings and an open floor plan make the condo spacious. The kitchen is well-stocked with all your cooking and grilling needs. Cooling is provided through ceiling fans located throughout the unit (no air conditioning). The grounds are well maintained tropical gardens.

The property has a swimming pool overlooking the ocean, children's pool, barbeque grills, and tennis courts. Nihi Kai is located in sunny Poipu nestled among the south shore resorts and hotels with a quiet location and plenty of parking. Poipu is known for sunny skies, shopping, great restaurants, and little traffic.

What stood out most was truly everything — especially the host. They went above and beyond throughout the entire process and made our stay seamless and welcoming. The amenities were perfect for our family, and the location couldn’t have been more ideal — extra close to the beach with beautiful ocean views. We were lucky enough to see whales right from the deck, and being within walking distance to the sea turtles was unforgettable. Seeing them every single day made this stay incredibly memorable.

The best VRBO we have ever stayed at! From the communication with the owner, to the location, and the all the amenities included with the unit, it was fantastic! Great location on the south side of the island. Walk out the door and you are two blocks away from Brennecke's beach and further on is Poipu beach. Beautiful condo complex and we have never seen so many amenities in a unit (beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, snorkel gear, pickleball ball equipment....I could go on). Also, walking distance to several resorts (including the Grand Hyatt). Would not hesitate to stay here again if we return.

Our family of four just spent 7 nights at this condo. It was spacious, clean and in a great location. Very walkable to the beach and a couple restaurants. We appreciated the use of the chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards. The view from the deck was beautiful and we really enjoyed drinking our morning coffee while sitting out on the patio. The first few days of our trip were really hot and the primary bedroom got really really warm. We used the fans to air it out and try to cool it, but even at bedtime the room was still pretty warm to sleep. Thankfully it was a little cooler for the end of our trip. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we really enjoyed the condo!

Beautiful location

This was a beautiful relaxing location for sunsets and walking to the close beaches. It was very exciting to see all the sea turtles on the beach. The condo was very comfortable.

One of the best Hawaiian condos we have stayed at in over 35-yrs.

This is a great place for a family to stay at in Poipu. The condo is spacious, well furnished and has a good view of the ocean. Awesome location within a few blocks of beaches and restaurants. Having to park on the street is the only negative.

Fantastic location

This VRBO was the perfect location! Everything we wanted to see was within a short distance of it! Clean, beautifully decorated and its amenities were above and beyond fantastic! Being on the third floor, you could see and hear the ocean from our lanai! We will definitely come back here!

Perfect place, perfect stay

Perfect condo with amazing view. Perfect location with short walk to beach. Beds were very comfortable and loved that they were not twin size for my very tall teenagers!! Everything we needed in the condo, never had the chance to communicate with hosts because everything was so easy and perfect 😊

Amazing!

Everything about this condo is amazing. The location is better than we could have imagined. We were a little nervous about not having AC, but with fans going at night the heat/humidity wasn’t an issue. We can’t wait to book our next trip, and will definitely stay here again!

We had the most incredible stay! It was perfect for our family of 5:). The view was magical and we just walked one block every morning to see the sea turtles! The extra den was a bonus and gave another sleeping space. We loved having the windows open at night and the breeze was perfection. Thank you! We hope to return again some day!

Beautiful view and great property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was just as advertised. The view is great. We also enjoyed the tennis courts and the community gas grills. Walking distance to a beach. The only think I would change is put in a bigger microwave. The one that is there is tiny and doesn't match any of the other appliances.

Spectacular

This condo in Poipu is even better than listed! The home is immaculate, stocked with all conveniences you could want while in Kauai. The ocean front lanai and living room is breathtaking and breezy. Not pictured and a pleasant surprise was the den which made a perfect third bedroom making this home so spacious. There were beach chairs, snorkeling gear, beach towels... all the beach going amenities you'd need right in the unit to use. The pool is also ocean front and incredibly deep, which is a rare find and was wonderful to use! Thank you for letting us use your home Kathy, we had a wonderful time in Kauai!

Perfect Location

We had a great time staying here! It’s the perfect location to walk down to the body boarding beach. You can also walk to the snorkeling beach which we did many times, but we also drove down there too. There is parking. The condo itself was perfect for our family of 6. It had everything we needed! There are tons of dishes, pots and pans. We had plenty of beach towels and shower towels. We had perfect weather and the cross breeze was excellent! There isn’t air conditioning but honestly we never needed it. When you first arrive it’s stuffy but you open all the windows and doors and the condo has an amazing breeze. The view is spectacular and location is perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

Can't beat the view

The view is breathtaking ... worth every penny and more. Such a special feeling to wake up to the sight and sounds of the ocean. The location was ideal with walking distance to Poipu beach and the pool was just a hop, skip and a jump away - pool and beach accessories were provided as well including towels. What a benefit for folks traveling from the mainland. Also greatly appreciated the extra supplies such as toilet paper, Kleenex, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, paper towels, hand soap etc. It's great to not have to worry about going to the store to get those after you arrive. The only downfall was not having air-conditioning. We knew this going in and I thought it would not be a problem for me, but it was. I was hot all the time despite the windows, doors and fans going. This was only a 'me' problem however, the rest of the family was fine with it (I blame it on menopause). Thanks for a memorable vacation.

Lovely home away from home!

My family (my husband and I; 3 kids: 15, 13 and 10) and I fell in love with this place! Spacious, very clean, nicely decorated, comfy, has everything you need to feel like your home. Plenty of towels, beach towels, sheets, the kitchen had all that we needed. Bonus was having shampoo, conditioner and body wash already here in both bathrooms and laundry pods and dryer sheets when we did laundry! There are extra fans and having the windows and sliding doors open gave wonderful breezes which made it so nice (no a/c). We all slept well! No complaints. Lots of pillows and extra sheets and blankets if needed. We had a lot of our meals here. We cooked and did takeout. The pool was amazing to end our beach days and nice when we went in the evenings! There are snorkeling gear for all of us which we used, bodyboards too and other beach gear i.e. chairs, umbrella, insulated bag (so nice to use when we picnicked at the beach). Proximity was just a two minute walk to Poipu. My husband and I had coffee every morning on the lanai/balcony looking out to the beach. We can spot the sea turtles from where we were sitting and I loved bird watching. Kathy, the owner, was very communicative - she answered our questions promptly even during our stay. Booking, checking in and out was easy. We plan to come back very soon and stay here! We were able to relax, watch movies, have meals together and also have our space too. We love Kauai and we love this place too!

Wonderful Stay

Highly recommend staying at this property. It was spacious and well-equipped, and the location was great. I feel this unit was in a prime location compared to the other units. I could hear the waves at night and we enjoyed relaxing and reading on the large balcony. The kitchen was fully-stocked and seeing coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards, and tennis racquets in the condo was such a nice surprise! We felt so sad leaving and I would love to stay here again on my next visit to Kauai.

Gorgeous Views!!

The views from the balcony are amazing, we loved watching the sunset. The condo is very spacious, clean, and we loved the décor. It is also close to the beach, only a 5 minute walk. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Poipu perfection

The unit was perfect. Saw whales everyday right from the balcony. Short walk to the beach. Top floor unobstructed views. Street parking right at the steps of unit - never had to walk. Would highly recommend staying here.
