North of Bourbon and Neat are close-great location.
Perfect spot to stay for our Bourbon Trail getaway. Great location in walking distance to bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. The backyard fire pit was a bonus! Would definitely recommend staying here!
Our stay was amazing! Eric was such a great host. Very reachable for anything we needed and have us some great recommendations in the area. Would definitely stay there again!
Management was great. The house was excellent. Beds were awesome. Four of us came down to for the national farm machinery show. It was less than 15mins from freedom hall and the house is centrally located.
We stayed quite a long time and the owners were extremely attentive and helped with anything we may have needed. Very nice house. Would definitely rent it again.
Our family weekend in Louisville was perfect! We loved being able to stay together at this home it was very clean had lots of room to hang out and visit. The Bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen had all of the amenities. A+
The house was as described. Enough room for our family to spread out, relax, and play some games between Spring Break excursions around town. Hosts were super responsive and attentive.
It’s an awesome location close to downtown Louisville. We loved the backyard and hanging out there after a busy day the patio is covered so nice if it does rain! Highly recommend!! The only things I would really recommend is putting a handrail on front door stairs and maybe more pots and pans for those who like to cook instead of go out. Otherwise kitchen was wonderful with a gas stove!
Family of 8 were in town. The orange door was a perfect fit for us. The house fit all of us comfortably. Our beds were comfortable. House is very clean. Eric is a great host very easy to get in touch with.. looking forward to staying again
My friends and I stayed there for the bourbon and beyond music festival weekend. It was only about a 10 minute drive. Everything was up to our expectations. The only thing I would recommend is maybe a few more folding chairs to put around the kitchen table when there’s more than four people we had a great time
Our stay was fine. I will say that the kitchen was not as well equipped as other VRBO rentals I’ve stayed in. For example, there was only one skillet. The host was responsive to the minor issues I reported, e.g. burned out lightbulb and dead mouse in one of the kitchen cabinets.
This was a comfortable place for my myself, my wife, adult son and his wife. Seating in the living room is a couch and one chair (I think there were two chairs in the pictures) which worked OK for the 4 of us. Throughout the entirety of our stay, there was someone else's vehicle parked directly in front of the property, leaving us to scout for nearby parking spots up and down the street. We were always able to find one, but for a house than can accommodate over 6 people, having no designated parking seems like a problem. The downstairs bedroom where my wife and I stayed has no outside window, so it is PITCH BLACK at night... a nightlight would be helpful in the bedroom and bathroom. My son and his wife stayed upstairs.. where the bathroom there is off one of the small bedrooms. Not a problem for them but if you had children you will have to go through their room to access the bath. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint and fairly convenient to downtown. The front room is not well insulated, and as it was fairly cool during our visit the furnace ran nonstop even set at 70. We were comfortable in the house and the kitchen is well equipped for the number of people we had. There is a nice little backyard and porch but we never went out due to the cool weather.
The Orange Door was great for family and centrally located in Louisville. The property was clean, ready for us, everything worked well, and we didn’t have any issues at all. It was quiet at night and within walking distance of some pretty good family friendly breakfast and lunch places (We didn’t do dinner out). We had everything we needed at the house, a convenience store nearby, and Kroger a few blocks away. We really enjoyed the house and highly recommend it.
We had a great stay at the Orange Door property. The place was just as described and convenient to everything. Eric was awesome and eager to help with any questions. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this property to anyone!

Orange door house!
Myself and my group of 10 people stayed here over the weekend and really enjoyed our stay!
This house is super close to downtown louisville. We were in town for the bourbon trail. It was perfect for the few distilleries in downtown Louisville we had on our list. For the distilleries further outside of louiville it was still great because it was close to the highway and made our commute very easy. We were also close to some really great BBQ places.
The house itself is newly renovated and decorated very cute and stylish. The owner was wonderful to work with and did anything he could to make sure we had a great stay.
The owner provided some air mattresses, and extra chairs for us which really made it comfrotbable for a larger group.
Overall we really had a wonderful stay.

The property was clean and well maintained.
The house fit our group of 9 perfectly, and we were able to check in a littler earlier when we arrived in the city a little ahead of schedule. Eric was able to give us lots of suggestions on where to go and was always reachable. It was also easy to get an Uber into downtown lousiville from the property.
