Come enjoy peace and adventure in the quaint town of Keene, NY. This property is located on a quiet, dead-end private road on 13 acres. Make yourself at home by snuggling up in a soft blanket on brand new leather couches by the stone fire place. At the same time, enjoy gorgeous mountain views and plentiful light.
Located just a few minute drive to countless hikes in the High Peaks. Just 20 minutes to Lake Placid and several Olympic Venues including Whiteface ski resort. Also be sure to check out the newly built mountain bike trails a few miles away.
Want to just relax at the house? Enjoy coffee and meals on the back patio. Build a fire in the pit that looks out at the mountains. Relax in the den and enjoy a good movie. Or, get cozy by the fireplace with a good book.
The property owners live next-door, allowing for superior maintenance of the property and quick responses to any questions. Absolutely no pets/animals due to severe allergies.

Great location near beautiful adironacks

Had a great stay here enjoying nearby hikes in the adironacks and lake placid area. House was well stocked for meals cooked at home and had a beautiful view of the mountains in the backyard. We couldnt have had better weather for early April or a more perfect spot for viewing the total eclipse. Host was attentive and check in was a breeze.

This beautiful home is set in a picturesque and quiet Adirondack setting. A 20 minute drive to Lake Placid and close to Whiteface, the house has modern appliances and bathroom fixtures, and was well supplied with towels and other items. The beds and linens were comfortable. Our host Lindsey responded almost instantly to our inquiries and couldn’t have been more welcoming. We would be happy to return to the property on our next visit to the area.
