We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is gorgeous and well appointed. We only stayed two nights and weren't interested in cooking for ourselves, but had we wanted to, the kitchen would have been perfect for it. Highly recommend for a quiet place to stay that's a quick drive to town.
This place was beautiful, spacious, very clean, and had everything you might need- even beach towels! It's quiet and in a stunning part of the island of Deer Isle. A quick drive to downtown and other parts of the island. We really enjoyed staying here and recommend it to anyone who might be looking for a great place to stay.

Exceptional host with great communication. A real find if you are traveling to Deer Isle. We will be going back!
We had a wonderful stay in this very clean and conveniently located property. Alice was very accommodating as we were late with our check-in. she provided a lobster pot and a way to boil lobsters outside.

Rick, Nikki, Tim and Janet were ultimately 5 STAR guests-warm, friendly and fun!
Great with communication, quiet, and left the house in immaculate condition! They treated me to a lobster dinner on their last night here. Oddly but in a good way, I felt like a pampered guest in my own home! Thanks to all 4 of you! I am looking forward to future visits!
Everything was seamless about checking-in and out. Everything you could possibly think of is available for your use. You literally just need food and clothing. I wish there was AC, but my partner liked it warm. It did cool down late at night and there was a window fan to help. The owner put in a lot of thought in creating a peaceful stay. It was close enough to town to the local restaurants and activities.

It was such a pleasure meeting Sherry and Brian. I am so pleased that you chose to stay at my Oceanville Oasis. I really loved your enthusiasm for the island and its history. It was wonderful to share my basement tiny home project with you. Enjoy the rest of your summer! Looking forward to having you stay here again

What makes this property unique
Oceanville Oasis was designed by your host. I also assisted in a great deal of the house build. It is a very personal space influenced by houses that I have visited, rented, or owned. My kitchen was designed for my business, Fox Den Delicacies, LLC. It is licensed by the state of Maine for food preparation of sugar and bakers’ confections distributed via mobile vending. Driftwood, seaglass and rock creations were all created with local finds. They are displayed for your visual enjoyment. The photography on the walls is mine, created in color and black and white darkrooms. The placement of the driveway in the curve of the road and the juxtaposition of the house at the top of the granite slope affords almost 360 degrees of privacy. Only undeveloped forest surrounds the house on the north, east and west sides. My wish is that you find my home aesthetically pleasing to the eye with its lines, textures, colors and lighting. I have put a great deal of thought and preparation into making it comfortable and welcoming as well as functional for your stay. Please treat it with the same respect that you would give your own home and take care to leave it in the same manner as when you arrived.
*Most of the scenics that are in the additional AirBNB photos were captured within walking distance or just minutes drive from my house! You can walk down to the Oceanville Bridge for a swim or I can show you a short hike to a delightfully private beach at the end of a woods trail.
