Cozy Capitol Hill Apt 1 Minute Walk To Metro w/Parking
Beautifully updated 1 bedroom English basement apartment (approx. 800 sq ft) in our 1920’s home. Guests will have access to the entire apartment which includes 2 private entrances (front and rear), kitchen, dining room, coffee bar, bathroom, dedicated workspace, living area, bedroom and 1 off-street parking spot (with the exception a locked owner's closet) . The apartment is completely separated with its own separate central A/C & heating system that you control. We are less than a 1 minute walk to the Stadium Armory metro stop.
Booking with us includes FREE DIY BREAKFAST which includes a waffle maker, mini pancake griddle, pancake/waffle mix, grits, oatmeal, breakfast bars, water, etc.
We are located less than a mile away from over 30 local restaurants, bars, grocery/convenience stores, parks, recreational fields and more.
The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, full size appliances, etc. There is also a fully stocked coffee bar with a Keurig coffee machine, K-cups, tea, etc. The dining room has seating for 4. There is a dedicated work space with a desk and there is WiFi in the home and a printer. The living room has a queen size sofa bed, 42" Smart TV (with free Netflix & Hulu). There is a full bathroom (that has a tub/shower combo) that is stocked with toiletries, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, etc. The bedroom is an intimate space that has a double bed and full size closet as well as a washer and dryer. There are also an additional closet available for guest’s use.
We are located directly across the street from the Silver/Blue/Orange Metro lines.
***For security Purposes, we have Ring cameras on our parking pad and at the front door of the apartment. We also have a doorbell camera on the exterior of the home at the rear exit. There are NO cameras anywhere inside of the home.***

Why they chose this property
Our home is also a quintessential 100 year old DC row home. It is a legal 2 unit-multifamily home (duplex), so we actually live on site and are here if you need anything. We absolutely love the location of this property. It's conveniently located directly across the street from the metro so you don't need a car. There are over 30 local spots (eateries, bars, parks, outdoor recreational spaces, grocery/convenience stores) that you can walk to within 5-20 minutes. Also, our home is an end unit property, so we get so much more natural light that floods the home.
What makes this property unique
We are on the orange/blue/silver lines which will take you directly to 2 local area airports (DCA and IAD) as well as take you to BWI with a connection. If you choose to bring a car, we've got space for you to park. I love that we are not in the middle of the super busy restaurant and bar strips, but we can walk to many local area spots within 5-20 minutes. We are also walking distance to a number of parks and outdoor recreational areas. Our location also allows easy access in-and-out of the district, so you can be in Maryland within a 7 minute drive of our home and you can be in Virginia within a 10-15 minute drive from our home. The location couldn't be better.
