About this property

Brand new and modern apartment on Red Line!

Welcome to our fully renovated 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of Chevy Chase/Friendship Heights! Our house is a 7-minute walk to Friendship Heights Metro/Bus Station and tons of shopping and dining. The apartment has beautiful and modern finishes, new furniture, a fully equipped kitchen and a working space (Apple computer and a printer). We welcome families with children and are proud to say that our neighborhood is among the safest and greenest in Washington.

This apartment is a part of our house, and therefore we put all of our passion and love into remodeling and furnishing it. David and I tried to think of everything that a businessperson, a couple or a family might need during their stay. Therefore, we have a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and such essentials as a coffee machine, a child chair and champagne glasses (who doesn't need that on vacation, right?). We also provide a laundry room that has a new set of washer and dryer and an iron.

We stayed here for a week in late October and early November. The apartment provided everything we needed, was safe, in a great neighborhood, and quiet day and night. The host went above and beyond in anticipating what a traveler might forget to bring like snacks and toothbrushes. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals or heating take out food. For a basement apartment, this unit is very light and bright. The red line on the Metro is only a few blocks away. We would stay here again without reservation.

Amazing location of this great English basement apartment rental. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed each one. The bed was comfortable and the place had everything we needed. Easy walk to Whole Foods for a few small grocery items. Plenty of things already provided, such as toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and sugar, etc. I was so glad to not have to buy paper products in order to stay here. It makes a huge difference to already have key essentials. The best part of this place is how beautiful and safe the neighborhood is and the easy access to the Metro. We will stay here again and again every time we visit DC.

The property was as described - very well-maintained and ready for arrival! The hosts were very nice, communicative, and accommodating. A bad storm came through and knocked out power in the neighborhood one evening, and they brought us flashlights! We enjoyed walking the beautiful neighborhood and felt very safe walking the few blocks to the main commerce area!
